just wanted to thank you for mentioning Case knives which happen to be my favorite brand of classic slip joints. I collect the Case Sway Back Jacks and I'm also a life member of the Case Collector's Club as well as a registered member of the Spyderco forum. However right now I'm buying way more Spyd...

Manix 2 XL
My dealer finally got a Manix 2 XL in for me yesterday and what an awesome knife. He said everyone who has seen it had a fit over this knife. I don't think I have ever held a knife comparable to the Manix Xl because I don't think there is one out there. His Nephew was home on leave from the Marines ...

Thought I wanted the large Persian until I had the opportunity to actually hold one. It was then I realized the back lock with full length spring and constant tension on the blade didnt work with the way I like to open a knife most of the time. That's just another way I devise of eliminating another...

Sorry, I stay away from the Police model since the blade length goes a little over four inches and in studying knife laws no state out there mentions anything over four inches. That'just my excuse for not owning one since I can't have them all I have to come up with some excuse to narrow it down a b...

Personally I didn't think I would like the Gayle Bradley just from looking at it in the 2012 Spyderco catalog. I had never actually held one though until I was at SMKW s couple of weeks ago. After getting to handle one I still did'nt like it because it is too straight and slick and doesn't lock your...

Think I would go with three and a half unless you state law says different. Plain edge S30v steel. I don't own a tanto point or serrated knife because to me that makes a knife totally useless. I'm more likely to peel an apple or Orange than anything else with a knife. Saw an article in Blade magazin...

I have the all stainless model with plain edge attached to a large size ring on my keys. You will find that you use a keychain knife about as much as any other knife. It will do anything in a pinch such as when you discover that for whatever reason you don't have another knife on you. If you attach ...

I have never taken a knife apart or seen any reason to. That's why I especially like the ones that are pinned and not meant to be taken apart. I did have a knife by another company that kept getting loose so I took out one screw at a time put some lock-tite in the hole and screwed it back in and tha...
