just wanted to thank you for mentioning Case knives which happen to be my favorite brand of classic slip joints. I collect the Case Sway Back Jacks and I'm also a life member of the Case Collector's Club as well as a registered member of the Spyderco forum. However right now I'm buying way more Spyd...

Right now it is the Manix 2 XL and my new Junior that I just got Saturday. My Junior has the best edge I have ever seen on any knife so thanks for sending yours back maybe that helped bring about a fix to this problem.

I just prefere the G-10 over the FRN because the FRN just looks cheap to me and I don't buy anything with FRN on it.

I see that a lot on all knives and just think its buffing compound and residue left over from the polishing process and it could possibly have some tiny steel fragments in there as well. That would explain why it gets gritty and then smoothes out again after all the residue is flushed out.

Better check the tip status on your UK Pen knives to make sure the tip is far enough down in the handle in the closed position. I bought one last year and gave it away because of this.

I don't like the Maglites any more. If you ever leave a set of batteries in one too long as I have done before and let them start to corrode and stick you may as well throw the whole flashlight away because there is no getting the batteries out.

I predict the Manix 2 XL is going to be one of the hottest selling knives of all time. I was back at my dealers place on Saturday and he was telling that his Nephew whom I had mentioned earlier that was in the Marine Corps had sent word from abroad to send four more for guys in his unit.

Manix 2 XL

My dealer finally got a Manix 2 XL in for me yesterday and what an awesome knife. He said everyone who has seen it had a fit over this knife. I don't think I have ever held a knife comparable to the Manix Xl because I don't think there is one out there. His Nephew was home on leave from the Marines ...

Thought I wanted the large Persian until I had the opportunity to actually hold one. It was then I realized the back lock with full length spring and constant tension on the blade didnt work with the way I like to open a knife most of the time. That's just another way I devise of eliminating another...

Sorry, I stay away from the Police model since the blade length goes a little over four inches and in studying knife laws no state out there mentions anything over four inches. That'just my excuse for not owning one since I can't have them all I have to come up with some excuse to narrow it down a b...

Going through the 2012 product guide. I would recommend the G10 Native, Sage1, Persistence, Chaparral since I know you don't want anything too large and intimidating that might cause some in the office to freak out when you produced it to cut some banding material.

Personally I didn't think I would like the Gayle Bradley just from looking at it in the 2012 Spyderco catalog. I had never actually held one though until I was at SMKW s couple of weeks ago. After getting to handle one I still did'nt like it because it is too straight and slick and doesn't lock your...

Think I would go with three and a half unless you state law says different. Plain edge S30v steel. I don't own a tanto point or serrated knife because to me that makes a knife totally useless. I'm more likely to peel an apple or Orange than anything else with a knife. Saw an article in Blade magazin...

I have the all stainless model with plain edge attached to a large size ring on my keys. You will find that you use a keychain knife about as much as any other knife. I have never taken a knife apart or seen any reason to. That's why I especially like the ones that are pinned and not meant to be taken apart.
