Re: S110V Paramilitary 2 has dropped!!!

Are the s110v blades ground thinner than the standard s30v blades? A comparison shot between the s110v pm2, s30v pm2 and lw manix s110v wouold be much appreciated if someone has the time :) This could be anecdotal as I only have one example. However my S110V paramilitary 2 is ground at about .018&q...

Re: S110V Paramilitary 2 has dropped!!!

The above video is actually mine haha. My camera was dying or I would have been a bit more detailed. However if anyone wants any specific information, or some more shots I'm happy to oblige. I am going to take my calipers to it shortly, as it could be my imagination but it seems ground a bit thinne...

Re: S110V Paramilitary 2 has dropped!!!

It's a custom color G-10. We had it made specifically for our S110V models made in Golden. We also had to make a lot of it. I've had mine for a few weeks. It's a sweet piece. sal I think it looks really stellar. It's also neat to see we aren't running out of G-10 options yet too :D. Looks like Mond...

Re: Production pm2 quality and price

I am real stingy with Para 2's as well. But the last two have been absolutely rock in both directions and still pretty smooth. I anticipate my S110V version coming in the mail to see how they did with those.

Re: S110V Paramilitary 2 has dropped!!!

Slightly unrelated. I am curious what this will do to demand for the m390 para 2's in the future. I am imaging this one will bump it out of my rotation for at least awhile. It seems very possible that the extravagant mark up on them could come down some considering this model already being out, and...

Yes indeed. Managed to grab one! The color looks fantastic.
It appears I did too. The color does look really great! It should look good with my Orange and Brown Para's :D. I hope others get to snag one quickly.

Re: Let's talk about the upcoming phil wilson b&t (sprig)

I am excited to see Spyderco's take on Phil's Bird and Trout. I have Phil's 4" model in Black Micarta in CPM-154. It has seen a lot of use. Alot in the kitchen but I have used it for a multitude of tasks. Now that I finally did some bird hunting it will get to clean some Pheasant this weekend. ...

I use bamboo skewers to test push cutting ability. In my experience it takes a relatively high performing blade to make a straight push cut down through a bamboo skewer. Sometimes damage does happen.

Model: Spyderco Techno.

I chose this picture because the toad is short, stubby and thick. The Techno follows suit with a thick blade, and stubby body.

That is an excellent result. I have been messing around with adding a few sprays of .25 micron diamond spray to the stone when doing a few final passes.

Got mine today. Cruwear sharpens up great. Reminds me of CPM-3V, which it is very similar in composition to. Not sure, but the Lock geometry seems to have been made less radiused? Not sure if pics will really show it. G-10 reminds me almost of cream versus tan. I really like it. A few poor pics :) ....

Why does it matter if it has a collectors number or not? I am using mine either way. I don't mean this condescendingly, just curious.
