Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

The other day I was in the woods looking to cut down a small tree to try bowmaking (I've only ever made bows from hickory from the lumberyard). I had to use my endura to finish cutting through some thick bits the hatchet didn't deal with. The bow didn't work out... one limb was fine the other eventu...

Re: Spydie Blade Hump - I’ve seen the light

Some of my fav designs -- like the native -- don't really have it, and some like the sage it is only half there. But blades that do have it I use it and find it useful. I think the knives are designed with the whole knife in mind, i.e., the ones that have thumb ramps/humps have grips that work bette...

Filed Spydies?

Has anyone ever done any decorative filework to a Spyderco? Just curious. I tried a simple pattern on the lockbar of one of my delicas, just a notch on each side, it looks not bad. Wondering if anyone else has tried this?

The hardest part was putting the lockbar back in lol.

Re: The Advocate - An Official Statement from Spyderco

I don't own an advocate but I've handled several at stores; they seem fine.
That said at that price point one expects no flaws, these knives are very expensive. I applaud spyderco trying to resolve any issues with the knives pivot.
