I definitely agree with that. If I send this back, I will get the ZDP in something I know I would keep and use (and cost less). But thanks for the advice.

The Caly 3.5 is far superior to the 3 for my uses, but I see your point about the handle texture. I was fortunate enough to get the G-10 / VG-10 version when they were available (as well as the ZDP and Superblue). I also greatly prefer the textured scales to the CF, but the elegance of the CF model...

That would be incredible. But I’d be sad if it was green. Orange! I'd be game for a smooth G10, like the Knifefenter S90V linerless Native, but in BURNT ORANGE! That would probably shoot right to the top of my favorites list. Either that or use the same smooth green G10 that was used on the aforeme...

Now that I have the caly, I'm not sure what to do with the native or sage. Can't picture myself reaching for them instead.

Yup, smallest of drops of nano oil and the grittiness is gone.

I have a Caly 3 Confession. I've tried to not have any safe queens in my collection but have 2 Caly 3's, one HAP40 and one Super Blue, both sitting unused/BNIB. I have never handled a caly 3.5. Seems bigger than I would need for EDC. Plus, if I needed the larger blade, I think I would go with something more robust overall, like the shaman.
