just pick up a Harpy and a Merlin and you will feel the difference. while the merlin may be a good knife for some, the Harpy is 100% bombproof and rock solid. I have a g-10 harpy and it is my absolute favorite and most used knife. I almost got a merlin but found a good deal on the harpy and could no...

Show of your customized Spydie

I love the spyderco knives that I have but I constantly have ideas to make them just a little bit better. sometimes It's cosmetics sometimes I have an idea to make it a little more functional to me. No offense to Sal or anyone designing at Spyderco. I know that they work hard to make the best knives...

If i'm correct the new lineup will include a stainless steel handled plain edge Harpy. you should have gotten the harpy. FRN sucks.......IMHO. For real though. the Harpy is my favorite knife and I use it every day good choice on the blade shape even though i think that the hawksbill is perfect with ...

Wow that's the first pictures I have seen of a Lynx. is that the one that schmecky wants to call an Ocelot? I like it a lot the blade shape is very close to my Rekat Hobbit fang. are the paw prints cut out or indented for grip? looks like I just added to my must have list

Yog. I have handled a standard before and I passed up the chance to get it. Now I'm kicking myself. that feels like one Bomb Proof knife. and the perfect size for my hands. Is your standard plain edge or serrated. My LKS has a fully serrated one but I haven't been able to find PE anywhere

You might want to try here http://www.johnfjensen.com/ call or something and see if he has any. I have never bought from him but he is a member at Bladeforums and seems very knowledgeable about spydercos.

Thanks Clay now the question. is it a user or do I sell it to get something I should use. I don't want to ruin something that might be valuable to a collector but I also need a small knife that I can use I'll feel bad using a knife that someone else would have really liked to have in a serious colle...

I bought my first spyderco from packratsul the day before the 9/11 I had questions after about a week if it would get here and my e mails were promptly answered. even with the mail to hawaii shut down for awhile the shipping time was faster that some others I have encountered.

experimental navigator?

I just got this knife on ebay and thought the folks here would be interested to see it. it looks like a navigator in stainless steel. and is marked expirimental. does this have serious collector value? I plan on using the knife but don't want to ruin a collectors item. i posted this in b.f. too just...

if you have to cut things like hoses , zip ties, rope or cord or stuff like that too I would throw in a vote for the Harpy with g-10 handles or even the merlin. i just got one and in the four days I have been back to work I have found the shape more useful than my other EDC for those kinds of tasks....
