Hey Deacon, those are some mighty fine knives you have their. On those s.s. model, does the custom design on the handle give you a more non slip grip? I really like s.s. models, but I worry about sweaty palms and my hand possibly slipping down the blade. One of the reasons I did not purchase a S.S. ...

Hey 36, I apologize if I said I had small hands, but it is exactly the opposite. I have large hands. Usually the finger holes on some of the models out their are not big hand friendly. If you have smaller hands this will not be an issue for you on the Spyder or any other quality model. Take care.

Hello everyone. I just want to give you an update after a few days of ownership of the Spyder Karambit. Guys please, those of you who love the Karambit models, get some training if thinking of using it as a sd tool. At the very least get some instructional videos. Now that I got that out of the way....

Finally Picked Up My Karambit!

I must say, I have not had much time to view it and give it a good workout since yesterday evening, but from what I observed in brief handling drills,This is one well-built piece of cold steel! It is scary sharp! One of the things that jumps out more than anything is the usage of this model in the c...

JD,Mike, I think collectors have a different ideal about knives as a whole(not all) not to get into a long story about the plain versus serrated. It's no mistake that most steak knives are serrated. Also, I think more people are affected by the preconceived notion that it is harder to sharpen a serr...

Michael, I use the ACD and the polycarbonate models. Both of these are Tarani designs. Although I am sure a person who is more mechanically or artistically inclined than I am can make their own to do the same thing.

Hey Gruggier, welcome aboard. I would definitely say that you "use your blades", and I think that will put a smile on Sal's face. Congradulations on your Spyder purchases and like the rest of us here, one or two won't do. Heck three or four or more... It just keeps going and going.
