Re: Manix 2 LW Blue: Can the pivot be adjusted?
I think they have caught on to the fact that nobody likes non-adjustable pivots, even though a properly assembled pinned pivot should stay tight for a very long time.

Re: I only have a few knives, but I'm happy. Am I crazy?
I've been whittling down my collection, selling the less-carried ones to motorcycle friends online. I still have a G10 Manix, a Manix lightweight, a G10 Endura, and a lefty Millie. I also have some Case knives. The Endura doesn't come out of the drawer much. It might be next to go.

Re: The knife for "Work" vs "Town" dilemma
So....Of course I went into a shop recently and played with the Delica and Endura for the first time... Whoops. Now I want them both as well! This would seem like a great line-up: DF G10 for Town AND Work! Whoa. Mind blown. Chaparral for Classy Townin' Delica 4 Saber ground for Workin' Endura for, ...

I do not like the manix 2 lightweight.I have everymanix made and my favorites are the original and minimanix with the lockback.then the cf s90v m2 then the stag arms green g10 black blade.I do not like the m2 hollow grinds or the lightweight even though I own them all.I would change my mind on the ...

Re: Complete change of mind on frn
I read about Manix Lightweights flexing, but I was surprised at the stiffness of my dark blue Manix 2. I haven't noticed any flex at all. Actually I can easily press the Manix LW´s handle halfs together, it does bend when pushed in the right direction. Nothing which affects cutting ability, though....

Re: That feeling when...
I try not to collect for just for the sake of collecting. For every knife I own, there is a situation, real or imagined, where it works better than any of my other knives. This requirement keeps my total investment down to a reasonable level.

If all the knives under consideration are under $100, buy the one you really want an don't worry about the money you could have saved.

Re: I missed the boat on lefty military
There's one for sale right now on the exchange What is "the exchange"? I'm glad I bought my Left Millie before the supply dried up. I've read that aren't exactly discontinued. They just make a batch every now and then to respond to the small demand. Like mattman said, the exchange is the ...

Re: 5 most often used Spydercos
I only have 4 total. :( Which 4? Let's talk about what your 5th will be? :) G10 Endura 4, Lefty Millie, G10 Manix 2, S110V Manix lightweight. I had an orange Endura 4, but I sold it to help pay for the Manix lightweight. I tried a PM a long time ago (the lock was awkward for me, being left-handed) ...

I think the quality is excellent. Good steel, good handle, precise lock... I haven't owned many other brands, though, because nobody does one-hand opening as well as Spyderco, in my opinion.

Re: Numbered spyderco price gaugers
Personally, the numbered versions are worth far less to me, and I'm not even a collector. I don't want some random meaningless number etched into my blade, not even for a user. Life is too short for collectibles. I want knives to use. And I like my blades like I like my watch dials, the plainer, th...

Re: Corrosion resistance on VG-10
I've never seen a spec of rust on my Endura. I do my best to keep it clean and dry. I oil the pivot occasionally, but not the blade.
