My brown/S35v Para2 was about the same. But, like Chuck has suggested, I just doubled up the strokes on one side to kind of even things out and it is hard;y noticeable now.

I don't use mine all that often; certainly not enough to 'justify' carrying one every day, but it is nice to have one on you when you need it. It's a toss up between my Randall Model 14 Attack given to me when I completed Grad school, or the recently released Calypso sprint given to me by my team when I left my last job.

Personally, I don't like combo edges. But, if I had to have a knife with a combo edge, it would be a Military since its blade is long enough (in my opinion) to carry both the SE and the PE and get use out of both.

Typically I'm not a big fan of regrinds, but that is awesome.

Lately I've been using Nano-Oil and like it well enough. It's not as great as some might claim, but it's pretty darn good. I use the 5wt now as I've found that works in pivots a little better than their 10wt does. I still use their 10wt on all my firearms actions.

Before this thread gets way too technical I will say in so far as the current Spyderco offerings, I agree 100% with the above quote.

I have, and love, both. But, I'd say the Para2 is a better slicer all in all.
