Re: Native 5...why did it take me so long?

Are you allowed to carry it in England? If you've got a 'good reason' then yes. If you can't reasonably justify the need for a locker to a copper/court then it's best to just take a sub 3'' slippie. Obviously it's all a bit complicated and there are exceptions and caveats all over the shop, but tha...

Re: Native 5...why did it take me so long?

Thanks guys! Great review! I'm a big Native 5 fan myself. It is one of my go-to blades. You were spot on about the pocket clip, I fixed that with a Casey Lynch titanium pocket clip. The new clip didn't impact the great ergos either. Bruno[/quote] ...I swapped out the standard pocket clip for a Casey...

Native 5...why did it take me so long?

Hello all, Now obviously the Native 5 isn't what you'd call a new release so I admit this won't be the most groundbreaking review! :p Still, I wanted to post my thoughts as no other locker has been able to compete with this for pocket time since I picked it up over a year ago! In fact my satisfactio...

Re: Poll - UKPK Sprint Steel Choice

Dark blue FRN in S110V, 'nuff said. Keeps things consistent with the Manix 2 and upcoming Native 5 lightweights. And not to be nit-picky with you M4 voters (and trust me, I love this steel), this is the UK [/i]PK intended for our friends in the UK, is it not? Kind of damp there for a rust-prone ste...

Re: The Roadie, thoughts and pics from the UK...

...I've got the Roadie on my workbench to be outfitted with some nice wooden scales. I've been working on it for a couple of months, and I just thought I would post a short update... Ah I can't wait to see what you do with this. The G10 liner sounds interesting. I'll look forwards to some photos :)

Re: The Roadie, thoughts and pics from the UK...

The five colors listed in the catalog are red, orange, gray, blue, and black. The Spyderco gray has always had sort of a light blue tint to it according to my aging eyes. Carl Ah thanks mate, looks like I'll be picking up a grey one then, it looks a nice shade in the videos :) Very nice review and ...

...Looking forward the color Roadies: Orange & Green & Blue are must haves! :D I was just looking at the SHOT Show videos and the coloured Roadies are looking great. There was one that looked really interesting but I couldn't quite tell from the videos if it was Grey or a sort of midnight b...

Re: The Roadie, thoughts and pics from the UK...

...Your pictures make the flat FRN look semi-textured. What would you think about that type of scale material on a Squeak or Pingo? Sorry mate, I thought I answered your post before...yeah that almost powder-like effect just seems to be the matt finish on the scales, they feel completely smooth to ...

How did you keep the perspective so perfect with multiple folders in the shot? Might you be doing other reviews in the future? Thanks mate. I just used a...

The Roadie, thoughts and pics from the UK...

Hello all, I'm pretty content with my slipjoint EDC rotation these days, but I was just too intrigued by this little guy not to take a look. As this was designed along pretty tight lines for the proposed TSA regulations back in 2013 it's obviously geared for a very specific niche so I wasn't expecti...

Found myself having similar concerns about losing my sprint runs so you're not alone! :) I got the needle and thread out and sewed little strips inside all my trouser pockets. I just pocket clip my Spydies to these bits of material instead which keeps the clip hidden and protected from snags about a...
