Gotta be careful. I responded to a Craigslist ad for a PM2. The guy had one of the new china clones and it was nearly identical to the real one. They fixed the tells that used to make it identifiable. The only noticeable difference was that the pivot screw was a T8 rather than a T10 on the real one.

I personally agree with the tip-up is safer camp. I've carried tip-up exclusively for a good while, but when I used to carry tip-down I remember finding my back pocket sliced open somehow.
