Re: Reverse S vs Hawkbill blades?

Thanks for sharing that article, Mr.Janich. I predict that in a few years after the Lil Matriarchs all disappear, folks will be asking for a sprint run. Seems it's been underappreciated by many.

Re: Spyderco Ark - Sheath Problems?

Sorry to hear about your problems. My main concern when I ordered this knife was how would the sheath perform. I've had the ARK for a couple of weeks now and the sheath hasn't had any issues. In fact, it's the best sheath of any production neck knife I've owned - and I've owned quite a few. Maybe yo...

YES this! is exactly what I mean I'd like to keep the Hollow grind. The swedge would be nice, but not a deal breaker. And ok as far as locks go...my top two choices would be a stout liner lock...followed by the compression lock. Next is The backlock they've had all along or Frame lock. And dead las...

I too would like to see this offered in both waved (Emerson opener) and plain edge versions. Also, I've tired cutting both stiff and loose materials with this knife. It cut right through them without catching. This is only limited testing. Had some material lying around so thouight I'd test the Lil'...

Thanks for the response, Sal. I'm sure many factors that most of us don't even realize go into picking the best steels for your knives, but I hope you will consider using H1 for this knife.

Although I've got other oils already, I too picked up some Frog Lube because it's non-toxic. I've been using Frog Lube because I already have it for my guns, and because it's non-toxic. It works just fine like many lubes (toxic and otherwise) and since one drop on a pivot is more than enough for mon...
