Re: What's the intended retention strength of Aqua Salt sheaths?
I just got one for Christmas and the sheath retention was strong, but nowhere near the levels you are describing. I found a quick jerking motion worked best at first. Since having it, the sheath appears to have loosened up some and it is much easier to draw. I do insert by rubbing the spine. (Haha, ...

Re: If you could pick one discontinued knife to turn into a sprint..
If I only get one pick, I'd take an LC200N Catcherman. I'd love to see it updated to a wire clip while I’m dreaming.

Yeah, I’m excited for it as well! If I can catch it in time I plan to snag one. I’ve always thought they were amazing looking, but I doubt I will carry it much if I’m honest with myself.

Re: Missed the boat one the Slysz Bowie
I think I waited 3 days after I saw the announcement of it being discontinued that I finally decided to pony up the cash for one. By that time it was sold out everywhere I looked. It has been on my Want list for a while but I wasn't able to really justify the price. Regreting it now. Still want the...

Yikes, but thanks for the heads up! I think I’ll have to wait for a used one at that price. I still appreciate it!

Re: I love sharpening wharncliffe blades
The Wharnie Delica in VG 10 is probably my easiest knife to sharpen. It might not hold the edge for long, but it sure is easy to maintain! Love Wharcliffes as well.

Yeah, they are going quick on The Exchange. I’m keeping my eyes open, but I was hoping someone had a secret. Haha

Missed the boat one the Slysz Bowie
I’m really disappointed in that and it being discontinued. I was moving into a new house and just couldn’t justify it.
Anybody aware of any smaller outlets that might still have one?

Mua ha ha ha
In all seriousness, I love the blade shape and that it's in LC200N. Great job Surfingringo!
I was all set to get a Sprig for my birthday (shortly after Christmas) and now I'm all confused. haha

Finally got my Suingab scales in! I've been carrying this and the Sage 5 pretty much exclusive recently. Still loving it! http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk235/rdblaze/Mobile%20Uploads/1FB15A1D-B5B8-48D6-84C7-68100AC59FD2_zpssacvvmio.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk235/rdblaze/Mobile%20U...

Beautiful! Where did you get them from? I'm currently waiting for my custom scales, and I have the same plans when the hap40 drops.

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2
My vote is for the M390 PM2 if money is not an issue. You have lucky timing to get one. As soon as it sells out, it will increase in resale value. Not to mention, it's an amazing knife! I think most dudes would prefer the blue scales over the blurple. I'm dying to get one, but bad timing for me righ...

Re: Delica Wharncliffe Has Dropped (pics)
If you thin the edge to 15° or so, you'll be in awe. I love mine, now that I did that. Mine came in what appears to be about 30 inclusive. When the factory edge started to dull, I went ahead and threw a micro bevel on there at 20 degrees (stick with the ease of the sharp maker). I've been hitting i...

Re: Paramilitary and Military with thicker blade and Saber Grind: Yes or No?
I have came to the conclusion that I prefer the FFGs 95% of the time. I'm sure that saber and hollow grinds serve a lot of people for hard use applications, but in those times I think I would prefer to be using a fixed blade. I still have folders that have them though. I like them, but more often th...

Re: Delica Wharncliffe Has Dropped (pics)
I got this bad boy in and I have to say that I'm impressed! The fit and finish is the best that I've received on a Seki in recent memory. Perfect centering and smooth action. I got in line for some Suingab scales, but I think I might switch em to a different knife. These are my first black frn scale...
