Re: Protection against "Knock Out Game" thugs?
The best protection is a Glock 43 carried in the vertical document pocket of a 511 Tactical shirt

Re: Ask me your fitness questions
Any suggestions on how to regain strength after a major surgery. I had to have my entire spine rebuilt in my neck. I had numerous bone spurs and one of my vertebrae had collapsed into my spinal cord and was punching it. Then I had four vertebrae completely worn out that they had to be reshaped and t...

Re: Case xx question
The little Mini Copper lock would also be the perfect Ladies knife. Sometimes they have just freshly painted their nails or had a manicure and would be afraid of opening a knife due to possibly breaking or chipping a nail. With the easy open cutout you can catch the blade between thumb and forefinge...

Re: Tell me why I need a Sebenza
I got turned against these knives at the 2013 Blade Show. I had always thought they were overpriced and still do because they are just plain basic knives. However I picked up some at three different booths and never found one I could open they were all so tight at the pivot. You're telling me you're...

Re: Am I crazy to want an Emerson CQC 7
Ernest Emerson is a super nice guy. I bought a CQC 8 from him personally at the 2013 Blade Show and he autographed it for me with an electronic engraving tool. Needless to say that's one that will never leave my collection and my Son will inherit one day. However having said all that you might want ...

Re: Where's your Sweet Spot?
As for knives I carry four at all times. A Spyderco Dragonfly on my keychain ring where I can place little finger through the ring as an extension of the handle and for retention. I call it a mini Karambit. Left FP GEC 550113 Northfield liner lock swayback Jack with Wharncliffe blade qty. produced 3...

Re: Case xx question
One of the main complaints I have about Case Knives is that as of about 1987 or so they quit pinning their shields and started gluing them on. Most likely that one fell off and someone glued it on upside down.

Re: Where's your Sweet Spot?
I thought we were talking about knives but I'll touch on that too. My favorite shirt of all time and what I call the worlds most perfect shirt is the 511 Tactical with hidden Velcro pockets which have a vertical opening and are behind the two chest pockets. I just drop a Glock 43 in the left one an ...

Re: All things fishing
I do all my fishing in small farm ponds here close to home. I think the best reel ever made is the Zebco Omega since I never used one of the bait casting jobs enough to get good at it.my favorite plastic worm that I have caught more Bass on than anything else is the Culprit Macassin

Re: Kizer Kecker Collab...
Those are the best knives out there right now for the money and if you watch all the you tube reviews on Kizer knives you will see all the materials have been tested and proven to be what they claim to be. The American knife companies are trying to price themselves out of business while Kizer gets m...

I suggested a Caly 3.75 some time ago which would be perfect but it never wentanywhere. The Calypso inno way resembles the Caly 3.5. I had a Calypso and got rid of it

I can't see how they justify the price. I looked at some at three different booths at the 2013 Blade Show and they were all so tight that I never found one I could open so that ended my fascination with these knives

Re: Wicked Edge or EdgePro??
You have to sharpen both edges at the same time with same angle and exact same number of strokes. The you tube video I watched on the edge pro left me in shock. The guy just about wore out one side of what looked like a Cold Steel Lawman then flipped it over and used totally different strokes with h...

Re: The Mamba
It is, and I'd take one if you gave it to me, but for that price I just can't do it. That's a specialty knife that I really can't justify buying at this point in time. Plus, I'd want to hold one first. That handle doesn't look like it's going to fit everyone. Exactly, I have to look at some Spyderc...

Re: Comfortable carry of full size folder (i.e. Military) running or at the gym
I would just wear it inside the waistband of the shorts like an IWB Holster just be extremely careful with that tip down clip on the Military or you could be exercising in a Physical Therapy unit with some very important appendages missing

Re: Why not more knives with compression lock?
I didn't like the compression lock at all and got rid of every knife that had it. I even gave away a Superleaf that I paid $160 for a rediculous price just to get rid of it because the back lock would pinch the heck out of my hand every time I opened
