Re: Please Cutlery Shoppe. An Orange native 5 in S90V

When will these be available? I keep waiting for them to come up on their site? I would like to know this as well...I've been stalking it for three days, lol. After my non stop refreshing of the Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive page, I eventually emailed and they said later this week. Well, with today bein...

For me just my blackout pm2 in good ol s30v, and a dragonfly in h1. Currently on vacation with my family in the Southern Outer banks, and that h1 holds up great in the ocean. Only spotting was on the graphic! Amazing stuff

Re: Please Cutlery Shoppe. An Orange native 5 in S90V

I would rather see them redo the PM2 with orange again and dlc coated blade. Secondary market is outrageous on this model. I agree that orange is a good color and that it is always easy to find out in the woods. Yes, this. Have been after one of these for a bit. Was not interested till I heard abou...

Re: XHP or Cruwear?

Thanks for the replies to my inquiries. I was considering the Para 3 in Cruwear and still considering the Rhino if it ever gets released but I live in an island in the Caribbean and I rather have my knives not need too much maintenance on the corrosion department, so I guess the Para 3 is out. Just...

Re: Real World BD1 experience?

After having owned a Manix 2 with CTS-BD1 for about a year, having a Delica FFG with VG10 for about 3 years and having a PM2 with S110V for almost 18 months, let me say that the BD1 is probably a in the same realm as VG10. I would still take VG10 over BD1, I just think it holds up better to chips a...

I am no fanboy, I am a fanman. lol, this *will* be the next big meme! Heavy reference to the movie Cabin Boy lol. I just don't get this thread other than trolling. Do any of you drive cars? Hello, look at the price of gas. Same old gas (actually worse quality if you wanna get technical) but the pri...

Re: price increase

What do you mean by Manix2's and PM2's are similarly made? Same factory, scale material, blade steel? These are 2 very different knives that have very different manufacturing costs (I would assume) My point, which I think I failed to explain well was that in the beginning, some of the materials are...

Re: price increase

While we all have our own respective opinions, it is worth noting, that the value of the American dollar has changed...a quick search on google led me to a website where low and behold that with the price of inflation, $30 from 1997 is worth almost $46.00 in todays market. Not sure what that means i...

Re: Brass or Copper PM2 Scales: Who's Got 'em?

I had some Ripps Garage Tech scales on my PM2- They were really weighty (I'm talking double the factory weight!) but felt wonderful in the hand. I replaced them with Flytanium not long after these photos- the titanium works far better for me :) There are a lot of PM2 disassembly videos out there. I...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Got my "Grail" Pm2 with M390 in my pocket. Have had the bit of "bonding" with this knife so far... Worst action of any of my knives outta the box, had to take it apart to find red loctite all over the place. After carefully cleaning it out, putting some fresh oil on and everythin...
