Re: Is Sal ok?

Great, thanks we'll definitely have to drop by Oostende now.. ;)
The Ardennes are great but I haven't been there for ages, so I'd love to spend a bit of time camping there.
See you tomorrow!

Re: Is Sal ok?

Belgian beer bars are getting more and more populair here as well actually, I don't really care but I won't mind either since I also like Belgian pilsener. ;) I'll be heading to Belgium for about a week and a half this summer, a bluegrass festival and some camping/roadtrip. Will be a good excuse to...

Re: Balancing cutting tasks and edge retention? Or would should I not cut with my knife ?

Cut everything you need to and find out along the way if it works and wether your knife can deal with it.. Good way to find out what your knife can handle and wether your need something more or less hard use. It also helps to carry a Swiss Army knife, the can opener/screwdriver and the like can save...

Re: Delica 4 ffg frn vs endura 4 ffg frn

The Stretch is also great and currently probably my favorite kitchen folder (main competition is the easy so rinse out Military) but that has to do with the fact that I have a Super Blue Stretch and I never got the Endura in that steel.. Myself I also EDC a Delica much more but for me it's also urba...

Re: Delica 4 ffg frn vs endura 4 ffg frn

For those that work I would definitely pick an Endura, it is slim and lightweight for it's size. (not easily too big when carrying)

Re: Official Thread Regarding Upcoming Endura/Delica/Stretch

Love the FRN blades, especially in very interesting steels! But I'll have to go for the G10 Super Gold's as well.
Both steels sound great.

Re: Report on m4 corrosion resistance

Interesting read, there's a GB on it's way now and a custom blade in M4 should be finished soon. Both where meant to see some real use.

Re: A shorter Paramilitary

The Para 1 & 2 have the same stock but the blade length difference isn't that big it seems to be 80mm and 87mm, under 3" would probably be another 7mm off. (73mm) (It looks like PM1 is about 3 1/8" and the PM2 3 3/8", sorry this system of measurement still seems primitive and unlo...

Re: Gayle Bradley 2

I just recently picked up a GB. I have had the GB on my want list for a long while now, but just had never pulled the trigger. I must say that i know understand why everyone goes bananas about this knife. The knife is very clean, elegant and super comfortable. When i first opened the box i said, me...

Re: A shorter Paramilitary

I'm not sure that it would not hold up, having never injured a Delica, but I do at times prefer a different blade because I feel that the FFG Delica blade might be a bit too thin. (I do love the Delica for that thin blade as well) I believe that on the PM the point is the part most likely to get dam...

Re: A shorter Paramilitary

[quote="SpeedHoles"]I agree with ya FDE. +1 Although I would like a smaller PM to still be hard use it it might be nice to slim down the blade a bit (definitely not as thin as the Delica). I guess that if you size everything down but keep the blade stock the same thickness it would change ...

Re: Gayle Bradley 2

Actually just thinking about finally buying the Gayle Bradley, which I never did because of the weight and hollow grind. Probably will after all and ten the GB2 sounds really exciting too! Might just end up with a collection of Bradleys once I get started on this.. ;)

Re: A shorter Paramilitary

Would be very interested in a smaller Para2, would love a blade of around 3" with compression lock and I also love the blade shape of the PM2.

Re: UKPK thoughts. PIC HEAVY

Hopefully the next time I order Spydies it will include a flat ground drop point FRN UKPK and an FRN Urban. ;) So far I have the same original grey FRN UKPK but with that grind & spring tension it has also not seen much more use than opening some envelopes, the DKPK and a Squeak. Have once owned...

Re: Native 5 Midnight Blue s110v Lightweight

Would love this one, been wanting a flat ground FRN Native since I bought a Native about 15 years ago as my first Spydie but I might wait for this version.. Have owned the M2 in s110V for 1,5 week now and I love it.
