Really weird. I am imagining something like this on the wheel profile |\_/\_/\_/| where the | are where things are to line up for the next portion of the grind. /\_/|\_/\_/| They just didnt get the wheel to finish in the middle of the wheel at the end so that the edge didnt show if that makes sense?

All this bee talk....Just got back from my walk around the Office hood. Pass by this bush often, it was REALLY busy today. This is the only shot that was good from my phone. But it caught both a Bumblebee and Honeybee in action. They were all over the bush going to town on it. bumble&bee-RS....

Shaman today, had it yesterday. Finally put it on the Hapstone for a sharpening last night. One side was 16dps exactly and the other was probably 18/19dps. Took the off side to match the 16dps side. Then to the 20dps brown rods on the Sharpmaker.

ETA: I see your serrations look pretty normal.

I doubt it affects anything performance-wise. It looks odd if you look at it closely, but when I first walked up to it I didn't see it at first. Id say it is a visual thing. If you really (want to drive yourself crazy) look closely you can see the distortion seems to start happening at the heel end ...

So I said I wasn't really sold on this one. Well I just came back from the SFO and put this one in my hand while I was there. Now I want one. It is amazing.

Hoping someone from Spyderco would weigh in on the SE two scallop tip issue. The pic on Knifejoy looked like it had the defect as well. Hard to tell exactly what's going on in that pic. There does appear to be two small serrations at the tip but they definitely look strange compared to the catalog ...
