This is all I got from Jeff when I sent him an email a week ago.

The rumor is true.
We will add them to our web site and begin taking pre-orders later this month.
Stay sharp!

Has anybody used or own a sanrenmu 710? I own one and It is no where near the quality fit or finish of a sebenza... It may have the same shape but it the end it feels like crap and looks even worse... I'm not concerned with copies in the end it looks like a cheap gas station knife that is sold by t...

The chicken or the egg? Not sure but from Thomas of Kershaw. The ZT0777 is an in-house Kai design. Jim MacNair headed the project, and was assisted by the talents of the R&D team surrounding him. We did not work with MT on the design. Never consulted with them. Their "Project X" knife ...

Out of character for me and Spyderco but my last purchase from them was a fixed blade.

Yes, it was the Sogzilla and I don't think anyone would argue its a pretty blatant copy. If you talk to any of the SOG guys they will privately admit this was not SOGs most shining moment. It generated a lot of negative reactions for them. I can understand completely. As big of a fan as I am about ...

A lot of for me is where I am and what I'm doing. I keep a Leatherman Wave and SAK Pioneer in my fatboy everywhere I go. They come in handy quite a bit. If I am out camping and need something to chop, split and just be all around tough I would probably feel best with this. http://i744.photobucket.co...

Wow Jordon nice collection there. Looks like yours get used a lot more than mine do. That's the problem with buying so many knives. There's not enough days to EDC them all hard. I actually EDC one of all my duplicates but they don't see much hard use. That's what I use the machete's, a few custom, f...

I need to show my wife this thread so she will finally believe that my addiction 'isn't that bad.' Thanks knife-bro! I was standing next to my girlfriend one day while she was cataloging her shoes (she must own 60 pairs) in the closet. I told her that I just didn't get what the **** she thought she...

My problem with the whole thing is that they are taking intellectual property by copying their designs. I don't call them fakes because they aren't being passed off as a Spyderco product. I call them knock offs. Recently I had one of these knives come into my possession. I would not purchase it just...

Discovery Day

Today I thought I would go through my knives and see just what I had. It's amazing how many knives you accumulate over the years. Today I discovered several things. My photography has not improved much over time. I have way too many knives and most importantly, I have a duplicate fetish. Anyone else...

Looks like the guy has a record starting for selling fakes. I was reading one of his negative feedback scores and he got dinged for selling a Sony PSP that was a fake but advertised as a Sony. Not good. That fake looks good...in a bad way. Scary.

What you get from KC eventually is this: "Thank you for your order. The item you ordered is a new item that has not yet been released. We will ship your order as soon as the item arrives in our warehouse. You will not be charged until the order ships." Just hope that no one gets the one t...

Knife Center last year kept their pre-order button active on the CF Para II long after they were unable to meet orders. I was on the list for months and ended up empty handed. I certainly hope they have rethought their model on this. That's why I went with Blade HQ this time. Would hate to see this ...

I don't think the Izula is over-hyped at all. I have 2 of them and they are great little knives. The coating is only a minor issue and they both came as sharp as any knife I have ever bought. Last time we were out camping I forgot my axe and used that knife to baton through mesquite to make kindling...

That prototype has been on the web site for quite some time. It was going to be made by lionsteel and they scrapped the project due to problems with the hest folder. Then there was talk about an ESEE III folder. Last I heard ROWAN was considering the projects but I haven't heard anymore about it in ...
