I do too because he is a great guy and very good communicator. Also take into consideration that he has free shipping (I think) on all of his knives. Anymore I would rather pay a little more and get the service and he delivers on that.

I can say without a doubt that Jim is on top of pre-orders. He has never failed to deliver one to me and I have bought several from him. A great guy to do business with. If it weren't for him I would have never landed a CF P2.

My very first Spyderco knife was the old plastic clipped Delica. I loved that knife. One day looked down and it was no longer clipped to me. It hurts to lose a knife for sure.

The coating on ESEE knives is superior. I have several in different colors and they all have the same durable coating. I am actually more fond of Beckers but their coating isn't as durable. The coatings however do produce some drag and make slicing a bit harder imo.

I use a maxpedition micro wallet. Very minimalist and has all the features you mentioned. Think I paid 11 bucks for mine.

Don't look at the price of Randal knives then. They can run around 800 and are 440. Honestly I don't know much about Al Mar Knives and have never even held one but I would suspect that materials, fit and finish and origin would come into play.
