Yeah they really are. Just went through everything in the auction listings and did not find much that blew my hair back. Did notice that some folks are really proud of knives that aren't that collectable. Anymore it's just as easy to go to a reputable dealer and pay there. Just checked to see when I...

I am running windows 7 as well. I guess it is what it is. Sure would be nice to have a monitor full of Spyderco though. Thanks for the post!

I do too because he is a great guy and very good communicator. Also take into consideration that he has free shipping (I think) on all of his knives. Anymore I would rather pay a little more and get the service and he delivers on that.

Not what it used to be

Don't get me wrong, I still watch and purchase on Ebay but I am noticing a bigger and bigger trend of BIN and less and less real auctions. Just now I did a search and it pulled up 4024 listings. Then I clicked auctions only and it dropped to 618. But, 75% of those are from the same seller and his st...

I can say without a doubt that Jim is on top of pre-orders. He has never failed to deliver one to me and I have bought several from him. A great guy to do business with. If it weren't for him I would have never landed a CF P2.

Forum View Question

This might be the stupidest question ever and may have an easy fix. Most, no, all of the forums I visit fill up the entire screen on my monitor but Spyderco site always has this reduced view. I have always just accepted it as how the site is but got to wondering, is this the way it looks on everyone...

My boss is always giving me a hard time for carrying knives at work but she is the first person to come up to me and borrow mine when she needs to use one or if someone asks if anyone has a knife she laughs and points at me. Anyway, more often than not I have had my D4 on me and she thought it was c...

Here is a shot of some of the knives mentioned if you want to get an idea of the size. Up top: Delica Manix Paramilitary Military Personally, the Military was a recent purchase and the first time I ever bought one. It will probably never leave the box. Really nice knife but just too big for me. Good...

My very first Spyderco knife was the old plastic clipped Delica. I loved that knife. One day looked down and it was no longer clipped to me. It hurts to lose a knife for sure.

The coating on ESEE knives is superior. I have several in different colors and they all have the same durable coating. I am actually more fond of Beckers but their coating isn't as durable. The coatings however do produce some drag and make slicing a bit harder imo.

Don't look at the price of Randal knives then. They can run around 800 and are 440. Honestly I don't know much about Al Mar Knives and have never even held one but I would suspect that materials, fit and finish and origin would come into play. I have spoken to several people who own them and they go...
