Re: Motorcycle trip knife choice

Sounds like a great trip Chris and plenty of fun had, I’d imagine. And what better knife for an English gentleman than a UKPK? :cheap-sunglasses

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)

- Again: … - So: … - Same … Gernot ole mate, I’d like to think my posts are light hearted, sometimes arguably funny, sometimes sarcastic and often enough facetious. I couldn’t possibly care less if you or anyone else own or use a Military or any other knife. I couldn’t possibly care less what you o...

Re: In Defense of Liners

I might be in the minority opinion here, but am I the only one who doesn't get excited when Spyderco announces a 'linerless' model? The centering woes of the Para 3 LW, and the poor action in every Native 5 LW I've handled just gives me pause for concern, particularly towards the latest Stretch XL....

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)

Threads on the original Military used to be my favourites. Everybody had great input and opinions on how to improve arguably the best large folder on the market, in their opinion, of coarse. Now I think threads on the new Military will be my favourites. Ah, hahaha! Mr Glesser, God Bless him, obvious...

I couldn’t say for sure but I don’t think TiCN and DLC are food safe in California. ;)

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)

Personally, I couldn’t possibly care less what the knife is called or what other knife it looks like. From where I’m standing, I can see the Military has a liner lock, a unique clip and no redundant holes in the scales. This new knife has a different lock, a generic clip and nine extra holes in the ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Yes! Love this! Hey Jeff, I finished early today and figured I’d go have a pig’s ear or two and a steak for lunch. The old Captain Cook is a great pub, the food’s exceptional and my daughter and her family live in Botany so I could kill two birds with one stone. I don’t take knives to pubs but some...

Re: Is there any interest in a THIN tool steel knife?

If I can find mine I'll measure it with my el cheapo crappy micrometer. It's the chrome handled one, too. This one’s immaculate, as new without a blemish on the chrome or blade. My old one had the Armour Hide scales which had worn away from use and saltwater to bare aluminium. https://i.postimg.cc/...
