It was 5 bucks more, probably owing to the extra cost of producing the knife in Italy, likely due to extra tax/tariffs IMO.

Wow! Wasn't expecting AEB-L next! Somewhere I'd gotten the idea that AEB-L was an inexpensive steel but apparently not.

It's being manufactured in Italy, so the labor and transport costs are greater much like most of Europe.

Definitely looking forward to trying one of these out someday. Glad to hear they are still coming along.

I thought only the 6 had been released, spare for a few sample 5s. Soon, I hope, have been exxcited about this one for a few years now.

Oh well, I snagged a Manix and have been spending too much of my disposable income on toys instead of building up the cushion in case job goes away or similar.

The mule forum is also the best place to get eyes on concerns about steels and their heat treat, it's really a good portion of the point for having it and the Mule program at all. I believe that the vast majority of folks in this group would agree.
