I was not wanting or expecting this and cant find a photo anywhere of another like this. any info or insig...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
I've got a C105GP2 (75mm Persian 2) out for delivery today! I'm excited! I really enjoy finding the older DCed models NIB. Eager to try out an EDC sized Schempp from the ethnic series. Waiting patiently for a pic to appear somewhere on the forum. :eyes Fair point, Beau. And thanks for the nudge. He...

Re: Dr Larrin Thomas' New Video on Knife Steels
Nice one, Larrin! The geographic and visual context is excellent.
I grew up not too far from Bethlehem and the steel works were still running when I was a little kid. It was quite a sight.
I also remember even in the 80s the 'Burgh still had rather foul air from all the iron and steel production.

I'd totally be in on a Crucarta GB1, even m4 and micarta.
The GB1 is both shorter and heavier than the 2.

Yes! But only if it has mint green FRN on one side and burnt amber G10 on the other. . . . . Sorry, Al. I like you're idea but I think you'll have a hard time getting enough people to agree. The UKPK was the front-runner in the Forum Knife thread and it didn't get near enough support. How does ever...

I am a big fan of both the Stretch 1 and 2. I quite like the Hap40 and V-Toku 2 models I have.
I much prefer the curvy spine to the straight spine.

Back to the reality check on the Power Lock. And not to yuck anyone's yum... I will have to dig it up, but Sal has said the Power Lock was developed in house at G. Sakai. I think this may make it unlikely to see a Golden built model with a Power Lock, but I have no inside knowledge. Here is the quo...
