I've been wanting one of these for quite some time now. I really quite like the looks
of them but haven't had the honor of playing around with one.

I have an Endura 4 and it has the slightest amount of vertical play and makes a bit of a
clicking noise when I push the blade down on something hard. It doesn't bother me though
I quite like the knife.

Nice skor! It's one of the knives I've been looking for. I think way back when I first
was intro'd to Spyderco and that's the knife I see fully serrated.

They totally look cool and I'll bet will make great users! I'm hoping that Sal will come
on eventually and say thanks to all who have purchased them and being such a hot
seller they will be sticking around for some time to come.

The Kershaw Leek is a good knife, so are quite a number of other Kershaw's and a whole host of Spyderco's as well. It's good to have choices, and as far as one being better than the other, it would be very subjective thing. The major players make excellent cutlery and you really can't go wrong with ...

My Pacific developed a bit of play in it side to side (my fault) and what I did was put the knife down on my anvil so the round side was against the anvil and then grabbed a small punch smaller than the pin on the other side and gave it a bit of a punch. It took a few times as I wanted to hit it on ...

How are the serrations on the Pacific Salt? Are they a pretty reasonable
slicer or are they getting hung up on some things your cutting?

I remember the day when every knife I bought was perfect. There wasn't anything
wrong with any of them. Then I joined a few forums and all sorts of deficiencies
started surfacing on my knives. Whats up with that? :)

I have a Byrd rescue and it has wonderful serrations. Nice and shallow and work well.
I would like to pick a Pacific Salt with similar teeth if possible.

thanks for all the info and pic's guys! I am looking for shallow serrations
so as not to have snagging. I guess the one thing to keep in mind is that
as time goes on and I hit them with the Sharpmaker they will become more
rounded and perform as such.

Current serrations

I would be interested in a comparison shot of the different serrations Spyderco uses on their current line-up of knives. I am looking at grabbing another Pacific Salt but in serrated this time around. Looking at catalogues and ads you don't really get an accurate look at the serrations. Do the curre...

Are there any pic's out on the new Delica's?

Don't know if I missed a post or not but are there any pictures of
the new Delica's in their colours out and about? Thanks.

I always like threads like this. Thanks for posting those great pic's and having the
guts to take your new knife apart.
If someone was wanting a bit of a custom appearance you could almost sand down
that jimping at the back of the liners and smooth it off for a different look couldn't
you?

I'd pick the Rock Salt because the only way I would carry either of those is as a survival tool and then it would be instead of an axe.
