The Dragonfly is a very efficient design and the only flatground SS that Spyderco makes AFAIK. Very engravable if you want a special gift for someone(or yourself) <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> If you can live with 2 7/8" instead of 3" then you could not go ...

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) It had some good lines in it. "Two man enter, one man leave!" "One day, cock of the walk. Next, a feather duster." "Do you know who I was? Nobody. Except on the day after, I was still alive. This nobody had a chance to be somebody." &qu...

I carried one for awhile. It is a real working blade. The one thing I did not like was the clip mounting system. I caught the clip on a chair handle one day and it spun in its moulded recess, gouging out the square sides in the FRN. I did it again carrying something heavy one day. It resides in the ...

Centofante in CPM440V ?

Did any of the C50s or C25s ever get made in this steel? I remember there was talk of switching to that steel after the current inventory was used up.

I have slowly been won over by these models and appreciate their fine cutting abilities and sleek lines.

Mike V........ The almite Walker is not nearly as light as the Dragonfly, being larger and made from aluminum. The CF Dragonfly is beautiful, light and strong..... butt it is expensive, discontinued and very glossy and slick. I would recommend you try the Calypso Jr lightweight. It has a flat ground...

I carry my carbon fiber Dragonfly clipless in the watch/change pocket of my jeans. I also removed the clip from my almite Michael Walker which also fits in the watch pocket. My tufram Cricket tho feels better and provides better purchase with the clip on it. Spyderco did make a couple knives without...

The Q was model number C35 and had a spyder etched out in the blade by laser. If you ordered a certain number (500 I believe) you could design your own blade pattern and Spyderco would make them up for you. Many companies and organizations used them for promotions and for awards or rewards. There we...

I think the Q has "Pizzaz" up the kazoo, butt I remember trying to cut a dog chew in half for my mutts and it was tough stuff. The edges of the cutout blade kept catching on the material (pigear I believe). And don't even try to spread peanut butter with it. <img src="smile.gif" ...

I had a devil of a time trying to post for awhile (duplicates, error mssgs, the number of my posts would not increment) I found if I bookmarked the Forums page rather than the General Info page and came in that way then all worked as it should. A surprisingly like-minded webpage for you. http://www.strw.leidenuniv.nl/~vdmeulen/deeper/Articles/UFOfake.html I only had one "close encounter." While in the military (ontopic?) and in formation at night in Virginia there were some very entertaining and acrobatic fireflies in a tree that...
