Re: Hi Sal, please DO NOT FORGET EUROPE for the best Sprint Runs
I've already mentioned this in another topic; But how about a group buying NGO, exclusive to spyderco, for the european free trady area. Think about it in a Massdrop kind of fashion. The group deals with spyderco directly, less middlemen, us-eu shipping will be in bulk (so cheaper) and all administr...

Maxamet here to stay ?
So, little question,
are the maxamet para's going to be part of the line for a couple of years,
or has Sal mentioned anything about this ?

Re: New steel for FRN, options, Go !
Sal expressed interest in a sprint run of the Endura/Delica line in SRS15 Japanese powder tool steel in another thread Hmm, looks quite similar to S30V, similar amount of carbon and chrome, more wolfram, less vanadium. So smaller carbides ? http://zknives.com/knives/steels/steelgraph.php?nm=SRS-15%...

put them in a comparison:
HAP 72 looks to be a serious contender,
SG 2 and SLD magic have Manganese and silicon (may make them a lot easier to machine)

New steel for FRN, options, Go !
Hey guys, I was wondering what kinds of steel you would dream of seeing in the FRN models in future. Super Blue was a dream, As was HAP 40 (missed out on that one, but I've got a caly on preorder !) So what's the next step for you guys, A bit of community CQI , let's say ;) Personally : sage green h...

Re: How do you justify your next Spydie purchase?
I don't.
People around me aren't knifeminded,
but me carrying a knife has kept some of them from serious injury.
So I buy what I want/need, and don't have safe queens.

Re: Reinhold Rhino Update
Yeah, must admit I was a bit saddened by the news of the probable price increase, just like a lot of other members. There went my plan to use the rhino as a gateway drug for the friends. But you know what, it's still an awesome design, and the moment I get it, it's going straight in the pocket, beca...

Re: Best "Exotic Shape Design" Spyderco?
There's just so many awesome blades to choose from ! But really my favorites have to be: -civilian (has the most wicked blade imo) -matriarch ffg -kris -shabaria (my current grail, knife, too bad they're not easy find over here) And I have a suspicion the roadie (in grey or red) is going to be added...

Hhhmmmm, a solution to one day members who buy and then flip, would be to only allow one knife per member. Alternatively the forum administrators or the people from Spyderco could always send a PM to member with more than a certain number of posts (I would say 500+) a week in advance to the official...
