This is total Bro Science. , but my used FRN Delicas dont feel as grippy as my BNIB ones .
The color doesnt seem to fade or degrade at all , but I do believe there is a slight wearing of the sharp edges of the bi- directional surfaces .
The used knives feel used .

What percentage is considered worth worrying about both for early lockup and late ?
For example

20% is to early
80% is to late .

Nice job, Ken, though I'm not a fan of straight lines as opposed a curve for a wharnie. That's just me. To tell you the truth I have no issue with the curved spine , its just that I was always going to alter this knife into a 2 1/2 inch blade and to do that its easier to start with a straight edge ...
