Re: The threesome fight!
What US Spydie feels ''cheap and flimsy'' to you? As an example I would pick the new unlined G10 native for example of “cheap and flimsy” as an example. Having just a pin and 3 screws connecting plastic to plastic, whether they are G10 or FRN, and a blade and bushings. They seem too flexible, the h...

Re: Endela-thread
Well, mine´s here finally :) No time for detailed initial thoughts right now.. just that I knew from the first second I got it in hands: It´s a keeper for sure, so I´ll carry it today of course. Out of the box sharper than any Spyderco I received till today (and they were all sharp enough!), might ...

I can't really enjoy using a knife without a safe queen, either.I try to look at it as an investment in my peace of mind :DSpyderSeth wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 12:19 pmHaha. I have the same sickness. I feel much better about using my knives when I have a backup.

Re: Improvement suggestions for your favorite Spyderco knives?
A Manix LW with torx screws and without the choil would be my perfect folder. I am totally with you, especially on getting rid of the choil and lengthen the actual edge: BUT: I am pretty sure that this is technically not possible as long as the Manix features the (great!) caged ball bearing lock. I...

Re: What to do if someone tries to rob you with a knife?
Knife violence went through the roof in western Europe, and i suspect the dynamic is different from the violence in the US.Without going into politics,we have now people who will stab you in plain day light just because. They don't care getting arrested, they don't want to rob you, they just want to sti...

Re: Spyderco Small Knife For Self Defense?
The Pacific Salt is wondefull for summer, but without years of training you shouldn't even dream of using a knife for sd. Humans have been stabbing each other with sharp objects since they first discovered sharp objects. Obviously training makes one more prepared, but people with zero training prote...

Lightweight Tenacious-who would buy one?
I was looking through my Spydie drawer and i remembered how much i like the Tenacious.I didn't carried it for the last 2 years, and now i had to wonder how a lightweight Tenacious would be.Linerless,or with nested liners, the frn patern and the colors used for the Byrd line, same clip.Would you buy one?
