Re: Siren - strange lock movement
Yes, the issue has been fixed and the knife is spectacular. The sprint run should also have the improvements. Try to grab one of the LC200N models that have been discontinued before they are all gone. I had one with the issues and really liked it otherwise. Just checking before I go in on the Sprin...

Any updates? Has this issue been fixed for the new models and the Sprint run?

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Would anyone be interested in joining a discord for in stock alerts on this one? I know we've tried alert threads here in the past but they get so muddied up with comments unrelated to the alerts. I'm already anxious I'll miss the individual dealer drops.

Fantastic! My knife budget hasn't been touched yet this year, I'm in for atleast two serrated.

Baby Jess Horn, saber ground, serrated, ditch the lanyard hole and move the clip right to the end, Magacut or LC200N, all stainless or ti hardware, bone/bolstered handle like the 20th anniversary Delica.

Re: Past Spyderco PE Only Models You Want In Full SE?
I'd like a serrated waterway and siren, perhaps even a combo edge waterway.
Would also love something on the higher end, a Drunken or Lil Nirvana.
The one I've been wanting for a while is a Baby Jess Horn for a classy small folder.

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..
Has anyone tried to dye the new green salt series anything other than black? The ability to dye that light yellow was one of my favorite things about the series.

Still running her hard?
I'm debating picking up one of these in a Delica when they come out or sticking with the VG-10. To be honest I like the saber grind on the VG-10, times when I actually need a slicey knife it's usually in the kitchen.

I didn't read the whole thread so maybe this has been suggested...
If all else fails find a gun shop that does ultrasonic cleaning. A few minutes will have everything out.

Re: Is MAP pricing % changing come 2022?
Somewhat on topic (and I probably should just contact the stores directly)... I've got my eye on a couple that have been announced but haven't seen release yet. There's places like knife center that have them up for pre-order, anyone know if this will secure the purchase at current pricing or will I...

If you're going to carry on your keychain I'd suggest tightening the pivot down tight. I had one open on it's own years ago and got a good puncture wound.

Re: Pacific Salt talk
I think the Salt series gets too often dismissed as only a knife for water activities. I take some of mine out on the water, sure, but living on the southern coast you could never step on the beach and you'll still be dealing with humidity three seasons a year. I have many old knives with pitting to...

Ayoob, leaf jumper, lil Nirvana, lc200n dragonfly, maybe a serrated lil native salt if one appears.
I expect this year is mostly just going to be enjoying what I have and watching the PM2 exclusives come and go.

Pac salt 1 (usually available on eBay)
Followed by LC200N Salt 2
I just don't find the Pac Salt 2 comfortable.

Re: So what did y'all end up buying this year (2021)?
I'm surprised I didn't get a call from Spyderco to see if I was ok.
Only purchases were a BBS Delica, a serrated P4 lightweight, and a bone Kiwi. I tried to land a Magnacut Mule but failed.
Hopefully next year brings some new collabs out of Taichung and some new serrated Salts.
