Re: Lightning Bug
Has anyone ever put a Ladybug blade in Manbug scales? I wonder if it is as simple as a blade swap or if the design would need tweaked? Gotcha, yeah blade shape Ladybug > Manbug. Upswept tip too much on a blade that small Yeah, for me it goes Manbug Wharnie Blade > Jester Blade > Ladybug Blade > Man...

Re: Am I the only one…
Are you camping on a beach? Corrosion resistance is pretty low on my list of qualities in a camp knife. I have a couple stainless woods knives in steels like VG10 and 154CM and it’s nice to worry less but the truth is that I have never had issues with basic carbon steels while camping so any stainl...

Re: Lightning Bug
I think he is talking more about the blade shape. The ladybug blade shape is a little pointier. Subtle differences.

I like this idea. I'd also love to see a Jester blade in the Manbug scales.

Re: New type blade coating?
I kind of like the orange coatings on some blades. If they could do in orange coating in something as tough as DLC or even TiCN that would be super cool.

Re: There'll be a Stretch XL lightweight in K390, right?.. RIGHT?!
i want to try k390 and i definitely want a s2xl, but i think i'm going to hold out for a salt version of this one. as soon as i saw this knife, i wanted it in a green handle with pe lc200n. Given that this is linerless, i'd rather have a Salt version as well. I prefer linered FRN knives honestly fo...

Re: There'll be a Stretch XL lightweight in K390, right?.. RIGHT?!
I REALLY like the G10 version (although they need to get rid of that pesky lanyard tube that is causing all of the issues). I'd take a G10 in K390 with Navy G10 scales. I'd obviously be all over a Cru-carta version as well!

Re: 2023 Official Discontinued List
Maybe there will be a Caribbean 2 with scales that aren't so polarizing. Something a little more understated. The scales surely hurt sales.

There is supposed to be a St Nick's exclusive Military 1 in Red G10 with DLC 4V coming "soon".

Create a saved search on ebay. One sold yesterday, albeit for $500+! One sold in Nov for $330. They are out there if you have some patience and the money.

I assume these knives are hand assembled, right? How do you not see that the blade is literally sitting on the tube when assembling? That is what gets me about it. Crazy these passed QC.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!
The G10 Shaman doesn't have a tube in it either and looks fine. If removing the tube is easy enough without messing up the scales then I would go that route. So far I don't see mine touching, but I will probably pull the scales just to satisfy my OCD. Please do, I am interested to see what it looks...

Re: Sal, any plans for more G10/Cruwear Seki models?
Classic drop point Stretch. Only the “connaisseurs” like that blade shape and Sal is one of them. That ss Stretch might be a better seller but the drop point is the real deal. Than I must be a connaisseure too, since I still prefer the classic shape ;) That said: I also came to really appreciate th...

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!
I may have an unpopular opinion here, but with the tolerances required for the lanyard tube on this particular model..... May I humbly suggest removing the lanyard hole like on the Police 4? Is it necessary? How many of us are using lanyards with this knife? And as I said the tolerances required ha...

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!
I suppose a "less-stepped" version would work also, if that makes sense, and if such a thing exists. Maybe. The clearance is very, very tight. Extremely tight. Even if they made the ricasso kick slightly longer to keep the blade off the tube, the tip of the knife would probably be stickin...

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!
I suppose a "less-stepped" version would work also, if that makes sense, and if such a thing exists. Maybe. The clearance is very, very tight. Yep, I took mine apart and planned to file the step down on the tube, but I mangled the tube getting it out, so now I am ridin' tubeless. Kind of ...
