Re: Where is the REX 45 Millie?
Still getting my weekly notice from Knifecenter that my order is still in process. So the wait continues. It does get my hopes up unnecessarily every week though. Double down and actively try to purchase elsewhere... Knifecenter.com had failed me with their preorder process. Fool me once... Etc etc...

In stock in Canada. https://www.warriorsandwonders.com/Spyderco_Knives/Spyderco_Calypso_Jr._Aogami_Super_Blue_Sprint_Run_Coming_Soon 130 flapjacks is 99 in real money. And that's before shipping. Better than BBS, though. Canadian (Monopoly) money. 78 usd is 101 cad. They passed on import to the cus...

Re: ‘First’ Spyderco
Welcome to the forum. Benchmade griptilian 550 was ironically my gateway drug to spyderco as well. The ease of deploy made me want more knives with the same opening. Look at the spyderco Caribbean, multiple blade options. As a fisherman you will probably appreciate lc200n. Rust proof knife. The shee...

Re: Spyderco custom shop
I’ve always loved the idea of this. Do it for just a Para 2 or 3. I’d pay for extra if I could have my choice of scale color, and potentially the option of a couple blade steels. If I had to wait even a couple of months for it, that’s fine with me! And if they don’t have enough employees to assembl...

Re: Spyderco custom shop
If people are worried about ruining a collectors market just stamp the buyers name on the liner steel :)
Makes it worth more to me and worth less to others :P

Re: Spyderco custom shop
OK, I’m going to be the Devil’s Advocate here. I suspect from Spyderco’s, or any makers perspective, this could be a pretty deep rabbit hole. With say ninety different models each year, not counting exclusives, that’s a LOT of parts to keep up with. Would constraining the number of custom designs b...

Spyderco custom shop
Howdy, In Sal's 'why' thread Naperville proposed a great idea... A spyderco custom shop. With the right service level agreements, updates on your knife in queue, and other formalities to adjust expectations ... I think a lot of spyderco junkies would absolutely love to be able to order a bespoke kni...

Re: Canadian UKPK
I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but I keep thinking about the Spy-DK as a possible solution https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=879. What are the legal blade length requirements in Canada? The Spy-DK's blade length is only 58 mm, so I'm guessing this might meet lega...

Welcome to the forum JonP. First time I've heard of the SPYDERCO SPYDERENCH, nice tool! MSRP was $134.95 USD. But now that it's discontinued/collectible it really depends on what people are willing to pay for it. Here are some completed Ebay auctions showing what they sold for: https://www.ebay.ca/s...

A cohabitation with Hiroaki Ohta would be awesome. Check his stuff out.
However his price point is hard to beat as is.

Re: Nick's question of "why"?
The custom shop idea is nice, but I can see why they don't do it that way. From a manufacturing perspective it's easier to set everything up, and then knock them all out at once. With so many models, they'd probably need another factory just to handle all the custom orders. That's just my speculati...
