Finally reprofiled my M4 Manix XL. Ground a fresh bevel on my 200 grit stone shooting for about 10dps, then ground a 15dps microbevel at 300 grit. I think a scaled down Szabo Folder could be an interesting candidate as well. The lock should be strong enough for the design and it would be a less complicated solution for implementing the self-close.
