Is anyone mad at BHQ for making a profit? Or are we only mad at individual sellers trying to do the same?

As I promised, I tried some batoning with my Waterway. I sectioned off a few 2-3" wide branches with my folding saw, then split them into quarters. The knife handled this just fine, despite whacking the pretty thin tip with a good amount of force.

You can tell by the date code on the box. Look for date code DR or newer.

I would have preferred blue, but I don't know of a way that won't turn it some shade of green.

NOTE: The colors in the images are brighter than they appear in person. I am not a big fan of green knives, so I decided to try and de-dye and re-dye these scales. Received a call from Spyderco and they are replacing my Spydiechef for the lock stick issue.

Received a call today and they are replacing the Spydiechef. Warranty turn-around time was 25 days, better than quoted.

Nope. Different length for these two screws. Which is unfortunate, but I suppose necessary. Thanks, that's what I thought. Before I sent mine in for service I had removed the clip and reinstalled the screw. It seemed the screw was too long and coming close to touching the blade. I forgot to actuall...

There are two screws for the wire clip. One on the lockbar side (currently holding the clip), and one on the opposite (show) side filling in the empty hole.

Are these screws the same length?
