Re: New Delica Wharncliffe-chip in edge
Not good, but if it's going to be used, just sharpen it out. That's tiny. I wouldn't want to spend the time to send it back and wait for another one. I would just sharpen it out. I have sharpened out things like that before in about 20 minutes. Wouldn't you have to remove a good bit of metal to get...

Re: New Delica Wharncliffe-chip in edge
This is the kind of thing that drives me nuts when I open a new knife box. This isn't a knock on Spyderco as I realize mistakes happen, but I see this type of thing on a fairly regular basis from ALL knife companies. No way this should make it in a box and sent out to a customer. I'm not sure I woul...

Re: Para25
Spyderco dropped the ball on the Para 3, hate to see them jack it up even more so no. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but it seems to me that a lot of people really like the Para 3. The only thing wrong with the Para3 is the placement of the lanyard hole. Maybe we will see an updated Para3A wi...

Re: Why All the Techno Love
I never could grasp the purpose of this knife. On the smallish size, really thick blade and a frame lock. What am I failing to see about this knife that has such a huge following? I agree. I fondled one and just didn't get it. It was difficult to open for me using the spydie hole. I don't purchase ...

Hope they offer them with different scales at some point. Just not feeling the scales at all.

Re: New Salt Handles
FYI, Cutlery Shoppe is showing a black Salt 1 PE as discontinued, so this may be under way already. Guess I need to pick up a few SE before they're gone.

Re: New Salt Handles
Sal, will the new handles result in a price increase with the Salt knives?

Re: New Salt Handles
I love the barrel bolt too, but the square handle I don't love. The Delica/Endura shape is better at the rear, and the bidirectional texturing is fantastic, compared to volcano grip. I actually like the square handle personally, along with them being linerless. I also think the barrel bolt clip is ...

Re: Why does Spyderco allow this?
I'm curious too if Spyderco ever sought to trademark the hole and if they didn't, why?

Re: New Salt Handles
Thanks sal. What is the time frame on the new handles for the Tasman and Salt 1 knives? I may need to pick up a few more with the older style delica handles while I can.

Re: New Salt Handles
Sorry can't answer your question, but will say I much prefer the older Delica scales on the current Salts than the newer Delica 4 scales. I hope they hang on to the current Salt configurations for a while.

Re: OK, it's time to get serious
Long time reader and Spyderco customer, first time posting. Any updated info for online retailer stock in PE? The only one I can find in stock is SE version. I have followed this thread from the beginning and can say, without a doubt, Sal and company have a customer for life. The quality of their pr...
