My most carried spydie is my Native. I carry my Ronin in a waist bag to school and work (SHHH! Don't tell) if that counts. Mark. P.S. Anyone know a good source to obtain a Paramilitary? My B-day is coming up next month and I wou...

Hi and welcome to the forum, TLReed. My first Spydie was a Delica PE. It was my EDC for over 8 years and performed well in every situation. I carry a Native, now, and am on the look out for the new Paramilitary. If price is a ...

Great job, Ted. You have put a lot of time and work into your site. It is awesome and very informative. I think, looking at the two images, lining them up by the start of the handle looks a little better, IMO.

Welcome Ted. Welcome Death_Bringah. The members of this forum are awesome, freindly, and always willing to give advice. I don't think you'll find a better bunch of people. You have caught the Spyderco bug, too, huh. It is contagious. The Delica is an awesome knife. It was my first Spydie as well. Un...

Idea for new Spydie

A Ronin handle with a spearpoint blade. I used a Native blade for this pic. I think the handle may be a little small in proportion to the blade in this pic but it gives a good example. I like the idea. What do you all think?

Hi KBR. I just got a Ronin about two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. So much so that it has become an EDC for me. I got rid of the Tek-Lok and use Paracord through the holes in the sheath to form belt loops. I run the belt on the outside of the sheath so it is between the belt and the waistband ...

I have a couple of CRKTs, on fixed blade and one folder. Both are good knives for the money. I had to touch up the edge on a ceramic when I got them, but it only took a couple of swipes and they were razor sharp. They don't hold an edge as well as my spydercos do, but they do OK. I have put them to ...

I didn't know there were so many variations of the Native. I would love to have a G-10 Native.

I completely agree with Vampyrewolf; familiarity is very important. What ever folder you choose, play with it, use it, and become very comfortable with it. For me that would be a Delica, Native, or Bob Lum Tanto. I carried a Delica for over 8 years and changed to a Native, which I have carried for 2...

I have the Lum with G-10 scales but I think most would choose the Titanium if price was not an issue. I went with G-10 because it was less expensive. It was actually my first knife with G-10 and is now one of my favorite handle materials.

Got Ronin?

I got a Ronin the other day. It is #921. Does anyone know how many of these made? How many are numbered?

And if anyone is contemplating whether or not to get one, get it.

You almost took my name. Welcome to the forum. If you watch Ebay you might run across a pre-98 Endura or Delica with the plastic clip. Be careful though because sometimes you will find a pre-98 but the clip has been broken off...
