Re: Sharpening M4, any troubles?

Try putting some black or blue Sharpie marker along the edge of the problem area (I generally just cut into the marker with the section I'm trying to check) and then make a couple light passes on the stones. If the marker doesn't come off near the edge, that means you're not reaching it and you may...

Re: Blame Spyderco and the Forum

The bug caught me a few months ago as well and I haven't found a cure. What I did find was a PM2 Camo/blk, PM2 blk/blk, PM2 S110V, GB 2, Tenacious, Resilience, Bug, and two Military 52100s. I'm looking hard at a Manix 2 next. I also blame Spyderco and the forum... for spreading a disease with no cure.

Re: 52100 Military, what are your plans?

Not sure if anyone caught me mentioning this since nobody commented. Hopefully I'm the only one with this issue, but there are some chips around the lanyard tube on mine. The other side is perfect. http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/Knives/Spyderco%20Military%2052100%20Sprint/201606...

For those trying to prevent rust or patina.... there isn't a better product than Eezox. Nothing else even comes remotely close to it.

Congrats. The beauty of carbon fiber never shines completely through in pictures. Gotta have it in hand and in 3D.

Unless it's prohibited where you are.... why lie at all? That just seems a little silly to me. It's just a pocket knife.

Re: 52100 Military, what are your plans?

Amazon now has these for $249 plus $6 shipping from Stealth Rabbit if anyone interested. Said they had like 4 of them 1 minute ago. Amazon's return policy is impeccable. No questions asked if knife not perfect, but I bet with this model there are no 'seconds' and you will be pleased. It says they h...

Have any of you guys talked with SSK or if they mentioned more coming? I just put in order in. Out of stock but order went through. Wondering what my chances might be. March preorder with KC and today with SSK.

Re: 52100 Military, what are your plans?

Where did everyone get that 1000 number? Was it mentioned specifically for the 52100 or just a general sprint number? I'm not losing hope but my odds are low since I waited until March to preorder. I highly doubt that shipping is complete from Spyderco though and it was just an initial batch. I wis...

Re: Couldn't hack the Gayle Bradley 2

Some folks over British forum posted using the thumb pad rather than tip. Swipe it on top of the liner to left. I found this is easier to do and works with both left and right hand. That's what I do and is the most natural way to do it. It's clearly designed to be closed that way and not with the t...

Re: Couldn't hack the Gayle Bradley 2

I got my GB2 a few days ago... and I'll be keeping it for sure. The lock bar has just the right amount of "sharp" grip and releases effortlessly for me. I have smaller hands though which probably makes it easier. I think the GB2 is a fantastic knife.
