Re: Opinions on .380 for my wife
striker fired guns need to be handled with great care if there's a round in the chamber... which there should be with a defensive gun. You and/or her may not be comfortable with that. Agree with the round in the chamber and with treating any firearm with great care, but why would you imply striker ...

Re: Opinions on .380 for my wife
The Sig P238 is a great gun. However, if she lacks any real experience.... the best and most safe option imo is a .38 revolver. A Glock is a great gun but striker fired guns need to be handled with great care if there's a round in the chamber... which there should be with a defensive gun. You and/or...

Re: Slight rust on M4 spine...
.....and what can I apply on it to protect it in the future? A thin coat of Vaseline? Eezox is by far the best preventative on the market. It's "dry" after treatment and protects at a molecular level. It has performed flawlessly for me for a long time. You'll never see rust on your blades...

Re: Spyderco C81GPGY2 Paramilitary 2 CRU-WEAR
Really like the shade of grey on this sprint, these look sweet. Too bad I missed out. I wouldn't give up just yet. Some vendors haven't gotten their shipments yet. I don't think Blade HQ has... so I would sign up for an "In stock/Email me" notification from them and watch closely. They do...

Mine came into today and I love it. Mine swings free and is perfectly centered. The grey is sweet.

Re: Spyderco C81GPGY2 Paramilitary 2 CRU-WEAR
BBS doesn't know for sure either way and are just guessing. They haven't seen anything. Spyderco says they will have diamond pattern... so I'm betting that they will have it. Is this a computer generated image? Not a rendering... just photoshopped. Edit: Looks like descriptions have been changed to ...

Re: DESTROY my knife?
I'd keep the old knife. It's been a trusty friend for a long time and you'll have a void in your collection if you get rid of it for no reason. You can always buy a new Military with or without a discount.

Re: .22LR rifle recommendations?
22lr has been coming back around for awhile now. Even my local Gander Mountain has piles of it That's my luck- no Gander Mountain around here. The closest we would have is a Cabela's and it's a very long drive from me. Where would you find it online? I checked midwayusa, cabelas and academy sports....

Re: .22LR rifle recommendations?
You realize that ammunition is not available anymore? Where I live there is none available. Stores no longer reserve a spot for it on their shelves. I don't know where it's all going- if people are still hoarding it, someday there might be a lot of it dumped on the market when people decide they re...

Re: .22LR rifle recommendations?
You really can't go wrong with any of those rifles. I'd personally go with a 10/22. There's MANY different styles, color schemes, and accessories to choose from too. More so than any other 22 on the planet.

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
I think many of us have violated flag code in some way or another. Usually it's just out of pride or to get a cool shot and normally not too big of an issue. I personally don't see an issue with laying on item on the flag for a shot but laying the flag itself directly on the ground is a pretty big n...
