I'm fine with the wait. I could use the time to get money in order and I understand that things go on behind the scenes that we don't know about. It could be worse. I love my Striders, but trying to find THE model you want is almost impossible and when you find it you better buy it whether you have ...

I've put it off, but I finally ordered a .5oz directly from the source. I've been using stuff glide and smooth coat, but I'll see how this does.

This thing literally falls through magazine paper. I did this one at 30°, but I did another for a friend at 40°. It's sharp too, but not as sharp as this one. I did the more obtuse angle because the guy is new to knives, the steel is on the lower end, and he doesn't have any means of keeping it shar...

Tenacious meets Wicked Edge

I wish I had my angle cube (darn eBay sellers!) so my bevels would be even, but I'm happy none the less.

I've never bought straight from them. I buy my WE products from Howe's. He has the cheapest prices and free PRIORITY shipping. He even shipped my WE Pro system with a granite base for free. IIRC, shipping was something like $40. He paid everything besides the $11 for insurance! That is a stand up bu...

I talked to Clay at Blade and he basically told me my stones need to break in more. Since I have some downtime I'm buying up some cheap, but not crappy knives, and plan on practicing/breaking in the stones on them. Clay let me feel his stones and I can tell you they were way smoother than mine are r...

I have to say when I first got my SM I thought it was a waste of time. So, it sat in a corner for months until I got the gall to buy a wicked edge. Fast forward to last night. I have a friend that I plan on gifting a knife so I decided to sharpen up my Sage 1 for him. I didn't want to pull out my WE...

My first car was a '93 Dodge Spirit. Yup, an old lady car! I loved that thing though. One day I was driving through a green light and an oncoming Chevy 2500 decided he didn't need to yield before he turned. Needless to say the car was TOAST. I hit him right in front of his rear wheel and nearly ripp...

Doesn't bother me, but everybody's hand is different. I love to shoot my Glocks too, but you can find plenty of people complaining about "Glock knuckle".

Why is that? I just end up carrying other larger, more robust, knives. For some reason they tend to be frame locks as well. Funny thing is I had a Sage II and got rid of it because I didn't care for frame locks at the time...LOL. 75% of the time I carry a Strider and the other 25% is split between ...

I had mine modded (which obviously voided the warranty) by a member here. I can't remember his name, but he was gracious enough to do it for me. Sad part is, I don't really use my GB anymore.

Thanks again guys. I have thought about the Delica, but I also thought about a slipjoint since he is new to knives. When he held my Strider and wanted to close it he looked puzzled. When I showed him how to close it he said, "inside...I would have never thought you would use something on the in...

I just don't want to get him something "tactical" or that will be "scary" looking to the average Joe/Jane. This will be his first knife EVER (yes, he is a grown man...older than me, even). Thanks for the suggestions...keep them coming. I was not offended by anything said here. Th...
