Re: Spyderco 2023 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
So they are modified exclusives then. Hmm I am thinking they will be having them for quite sometime at those prices. Furthermore I am now officially unimpressed with them as a company for showing the S30V DLC models with G-10 as no longer available then coming out with these not strictly exclusive a...

Re: Spyderco 2023 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

Weren't the Wharncliffe blades exclusive to them?

Re: Spyderco spotted in Ukraine, but which one?
Spyderco Military S30V by the looks of it. I guess the rest of you missed it, here let me clear up the confusion. The reason he is still alive is the round hit the Spyderco MIlitary first and the toughness of the full liner construction and G10 absorbed and deflected much of the kinetic force otherw...

Re: Wharncliffe para 3?
Well seeing how I own 3 of the PM2 Wharncliffe the answer is yes and perhaps light weight for those who like them as for myself I am no fan of liner-less or lightweight anything and will gladly pay more.

Re: Why I love Spyderco Knives
@elena86, The Inkosi Drop Point followed by the Inkosi Insingo is a larger knife than the Sebenza and in many ways the evolution of a great design. Where it really really shines is the way the blade is ground it is different than the Sebenza and does slice much better. I have some ideas as to why th...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
AYOOB Serrated Edge has arrived. This darn thing is shaving sharp just sharved my arm and now have a nice bald spot. I mean wow talk about stupid sharp! Love it might look for a second one. It is excellent in food prepe even as I thought it might be the pistol grip and the negative angle accentuates...

Re: Why I love Spyderco Knives
Welcome to the addiction 😬 That being said, yes, Spyderco is the best in the industry. The PM2 is considered by many to be the best modern edc folder ever produced and I am one of them. I own a few Sebenzas and I highly appreciate their tight tolerances among other things but when I grab and use a ...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
If for some reason I do not like it I'll put it up for sale for a price that will let me break even and not attempt to profit as I see others doing on the secondary market.

Re: Why I love Spyderco Knives
Hey JD :) Lol didn't mean to get your hackles up. :) 440V was impossible for me to get as sharp as I like and impossible for Spyderco also. I sent a 440V Military in for a spa treatment and sharpening as I gave it my best and conceded defeat. It came back sharp but no where near what I can get out o...

Sal & Eric any reason to expect a SE Para 3 In Magnacut?
Dear Sal & Eric, I have been using my fully serrated Para 3 in S30V all week and really enjoying it all over again. I see they are available in S45VN but have no experience in SE with S45VN. Due to the Native in Magnacut I own, I am wondering if their is any reason to expect a Para 3 SE in Magna...

Re: Mangled Magnacut
I managed to badly chip the cutting edge of my favourite Magnacut mule today whilst making a cup of tea. When I got back to my office I was delighted to see that rather than breaking off, the metal had mostly deformed and bent to the sides a bit like the head of a beaten nail. After about 15 mins w...

Re: Why I love Spyderco Knives
Heck I am constantly surprise Spyderco ever made it to where they are today it must have been a hard road indeed, lets face it there was no VG-10, S30V etc and some of those early steels were please forgive me but to be honest they were garbage. I have owned some of those early clipits including wha...

Re: Sharpener
Hi, glad you asked. The Sharpmaker is a wonderful tool if that is all you have. Sal & I guess Eric not sure who the genius was that came up with the elliptical cats eye rods used on the Gauntlet and the Galley V as well as their respective bases 20 degrees on the Gauntlet and 10 degrees on the G...

Re: Sharpener
I'm Tellin you guys, you owe it to yourself to invest in the Gauntlet with CBN Rods.
You might never touch the sharpmaker again, I own both and it totally replaced the sharpmaker.
Maybe I need to start a thread called Spyderco Gauntlet no I won't shut up!!!

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
I just missed the serrated edge model @ Smokey Mountain Knifeworks. Man, this is getting to be quite the endeavor to find one. The search continues... Thanks for the leads everyone! It truly is mind blowing to me that there is such a constant, urgent demand for the serrated version. And most everyo...
