Re: Legal autonomy
Maybe with a few tweaks it could be adapted to a assisted opener? Wouldn't this legalize it in most places?

How about a fixed blade hawkbill? Throw some textured g10 scales on it (some other color besides black please).

It's amazing how using ethical business practices will get you farther than unethical ones. Most companies do not realise this.

Re: How many knives do you pack?
Usually 3. Usually one fixed blade (Ronin 2, 511 Tactical wharnecliff, or a Kabar Wharnestalker. The latter 2 are in custom leather sheaths). Usually a Microtech DOC or Tatanka in RF pocket. Typically one of the bug series on my keychain.

Re: Store won't be selling Spyderco Knives anymore?
I truly believe that the average shopper is only concerned with price these days. For example: the service department that I used to run, I intentionally went around and price shopped our competition. I shopped other dealerships as well as independent shops, and intentionally set my price lower than...

I like the design a lot....... but lack of lock bar insert, and a price that is out of my range is going to keep me from purchasing one.

As long as it's 80s Hot Pink! I'm down for lime green as well. I have often wondered why Spyderco doesn't use more lime green.

I like mine a lot. It takes a really nice toothy edge. I believe the cast 440 has a larger grain structure that gives it these properties (if I remember correctly).
All in all a cool knife that does a lot of things well.

I can't really explain why, but I would rather have a carbon steel blade than stainless. They especially look good when they take on a natural patina.

Grow the Native in to a Chief.
Grow the BattleStation.
I am typically the one that says "I wish this had a longer blade", never I wish this knife had a shorter blade.

Re: New FRankenManix
The BD30p manix sprint was under appreciated in my opinion. I think the reason they don't sell is it looks too much like a regular model in pictures, yet if people saw them in person it would be a whole different story. The one I had looked like it carbon fiber scales in bright sunlight.
