I actually have two Enduras in HAP40. The Delica is a little small for me.

I have both a plain edge stainless ATR and a plain edge titanium ATR. I can confirm the titanium version provides more traction for gripping in the hand.

I have no problem getting S110v shaving sharp on my EdgePro. It behaves about the same as M390 in my experience. I love it.

I bought one this morning from National Knives. Not sure if they still have some.

HAP40 is the only steel that actually scares me. It will cut you without you even knowing it.

HAP40 takes an edge like nothing I've ever seen before, including CPM-M4. If you've ever sharpened M390 before, S110V behaves much like that under the stone.

I prefer S110V in my EDC folders. It can more easily take a razor-sharp, hair-popping edge in my experience. It's very nice to work with when sharpening, much like M390. I have both but I like S110V more for EDC.

Someone needs to create an ' Idiot's Guide To Sharpening Knives ', perhaps one specific to using the Sharpmaker... For those of us new to knife collecting and sharpening - it can be challenging to read some of the commentary surrounding this subject matter coming from the more experienced users... ...

Get a wicked edge you wont be sorry I use something similar, an EdgePro Professional. I set the bevel angle to whatever is appropriate relative to the steel, blade thickness and use.
