The chances of someone pulling a gun in Canada is very remote. I don't know that I would ever use a knife for self defence. I posted this more out of curiosity.

So I'm noticing some talk on the forums about what blades are good for self defence and which are not. Some are designed from the ground up as a sd knife while others aren't but are considered semi sd knives. Where blade thickness is concerned it seems like the thicker the better for sd. I'm confuse...

It did it the first day before I dropped it weeks later. It doesn't always touch the spacer, I think I just shut it too hard. If you look at where the blade sits when it's closed it's about 2mm away from the spacer.

What's wrong with knives developed for combat?

I love my yo2. But it has had it's problems. I dropped it and bent the g-10. It stopped opening smoothly. And the blade was getting damaged when I close it from hitting the last spacer.
