Been thinking about a large gun safe. Lots of talk about how they can be defeated with the right tools, but I saw an article about how gun owners tended to keep their valuables during the typical home robbery because of a big heavy gun safe that the casual thieves just can't deal with.

I posted earlier that my Amalgam shook open rather easily. I wouldn't mess with the detent ball, personally. Report back if you do! I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone, but it looks like something I could do, and the advantage to doing it yourself is you can get the detent closer to what you want than someone else can. Sort of like grinding on your Gloc...

Some knives are better suited to killing animals, other knives are better at carving them up afterwards.

I keep a big knife by the front door, but I lend out my Endura as a steak knife sometimes.
