What's everyone's favorite edge finish on rex 45?

I'd also love to hear some more experiences with different grits. I've tried sharpening my Rex45 Military to 600 grit and was not as happy with the results as I expected. It had a nice toothy edge, but lost the "bite" quickly.

Maxamet for sure. It can develop a patina and gives you the best edge character. You really have to use it to get an understanding for how useful an aggressive edge is.

The Watu for me too! I'm really happy it's in 20CV instead of the standard S30V. I was all set to get a Chaparral LW, but I might have to rethink this.

I primarily spydieflick. I find it to be easier, faster, and more reliable than tumbflicking. It also lands your hand in a more natural grip when the blade is deployed.

I feel the same, I love everything about it including the smooth CF and no jimping. Most fidgety for me is the PM2. It's really addicting. Second would be the Shaman. The big chamfer around the lock bar allows you to disengage the comp lock with many different fingers/grips.

Smock seems like it should be up there too but I haven't had the pleasure of fidgeting with one yet.
