If you allow you knife to become completely dull (i.e. practically unusable) then your sharpening time will be 10X what it should ...

I love my Manix 2. I have the exact same knife and every time I use it I am impressed by the steel. It is the only knife I have (and am even aware of) that uses BD1 steel. But let me tell you from experience that knife will hold an edge and if you're careful with it, if it starts getting dull, it wi...

Aus-8 generally places it around the late 90s, early 2000s. Most of the plastic-clip, FRN models used Gin-1/G2, but they used Aus-8 for a short time. Spydiewiki seems to back this up for your specific knife: http://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=C13_Pro-Grip As a fellow owner of some old Aus-8 ...

Thanks, I dyed it with Evening Blue Rit dye. It took a while and a few attempts to get it to that color. But it was worth it!

Looks like most of your knives have turned blue, Frostbyte. Nice collection. Thank you! yes, I have a soft spot for blue handled knives. The one that I wish I had that I don't is the Manix 2 in the sprint run blue G10. That is **** near impossible to come by now. I need to get the blue ambitious as...

Hey Deacon,
Thanks for the response. I know the box doesn't belong... that is the box from my Manix 2. I just used that as a background. I really appreciate the information. Any idea when these knives were produced? I want to say I bought this knife back in the mid '90s... is that possible?

Can anyone identify this knife?

Hello everyone! I'm Rob. I'm new to the forums... and I'm addicted to Spyderco knives. Anyways, I've had this knife for a long time and I have no clue what it is. (I purchased this before I was completely addicted to collecting knives). I think it may be a delica, but I'm not sure. It has a built in...
