Re: Could you EDC only a Ladybug or Manbug?
Currently I'm looking at small wharncliffes. I've never owned one in any size, but I can't help thinking that it might be the best compromise for the variation of cutting tasks I do on a regular basis. I've also discovered/gotten used to back pocket carry lately, which opens the door for slightly l...

Re: Would anyone else like to see the Delica get a forward finger choir?
I'd rather see an extended edge and grip (Within the current overall dimensions) sort of like what was accomplished with the rock jumper. I wouldn't want a choil.

Re: Knife memes
A serrated knife can do anything a plain edge can, and then some!
I made this one for the SE nuts out there :p

Re: June Hawkbill Challenge
I have to say, I couldn't quite complete the challenge. The blade shape if the Endela feels more natural in my use and I felt like I had to work around the Hawkbill a lot more. Being at home with a small kid now, there is a lot of fruit cutting and bag opening and other kitchen type uses where the h...

What do lefties think about serrations?
I'm trying to get a lefty friend over to the serrated camp but I want to know more from the lefties here if it is worth the while. I try to act as ambidextrous as I can but as has been discussed before, in most situations the grind of the serrated blades favor a right handed user. My question is if ...

Re: Sal: A question about the Police
Starting with a Dragonfly I've consistently gone bigger and bigger, if the P4 stays in my pocket I guess I'll end up carrying a 10 inch serrated medieval dagger

Sal: A question about the Police
I remember reading that Sal wrote that he designed the police for himself and that the Police name came later. Initially it had another name along the lines of a sportscar maybe? Edit: "LaSal" I couldn't find the post I remembered so it's all a bit paraphrased. I have a SE K390 Police 4 co...

Re: REX 45 Para - snapped tip!
I have a S90v Native which lost about the same amount of tip as yours did. I fixed it in a few minutes on a coarse DMT stone. Really not that difficult and not a lot that can go wrong!

Re: Disappointed with first Spyderco
Couldn't the screws coming loose be a result of the complaints about screws being loctited to hard? Now its swung the other way?

Re: K390 Police 4 LW SE
I can't help wanting this even though it is a bit out if my normal zone. My range is sort of between Native and Gayoe Bradley 2. I want a step up from the SE vg10 Endela in regards to serrations and while I've been trying to decide between a Pacific LC200n and a Carribean this THING keeps popping up...

Re: I love the compression lock... and so does my non-knife-person friend.
I just went to the Spyderco app and looked for a way to find all the comp lock knives but unfortunately there is no way to sort on locks. Maybe a thing to update on the app?
