Re: What do you think of the Spyderco Travel Case?
How do you like the Doug Ritter now that Hogue is making it? I have the BM version, which did not come with a case of any kind. Personally I think it’s delicious that BM cancelled the Ritter collab and Ritter went to Hogue with the design and axis lock, and appears to be making a better knife. Now ...

Re: Rockin’ orange
The run up to football season has begun, and that means my wife has banned orange from our house until January. I'll have to stick with red and/or black knives for the next few months... ;) Oh crud, I guess it is coming. It’s rarely on in my house, and then only cause my wife wants to see the score...

Re: What do you think of the Spyderco Travel Case?
I’d prefer a dirt cheap brown cardboard box like Amazon’s “frustration free” packaging if it would save a bit on overall cost of the purchase. Spyderco offers a $5 rebate program if you agree to have your purchase shipped in a dirty sock. Joking aside, I too would like to pay exactly zero ex...

Re: Shaman sprint or exclusive; what are you hoping for?
Ah, well if you’re talking about trying out the steels that BBB/DBH is using, I’d quickly exceed my ability to sharpen them without a significant investment and learning curve. I’ve only been part of this forum for a year, and prior to that I was using 154cm. I guess I don’t feel like I’ve mastered/...

Re: Green salt handles
Interesting. I could be into nuclear / flo lime green. I use flo lime fletching in my arrows, though it’s not a great choice for spring. Pink, orange or blue are great for the woods.
I’d still like to see a black blade with orange, yellow, or flo lime scales. SE of course!

Re: Roadie vs Pingo
Stupid customs held my Roadie for almost two weeks, now they're playing games at collecting fees at delivery while I'm actually on summer vacation. Freaks!! There's a real risk that it'll be returned to the US..... I so hate them. I understand. I ordered 2 fir gifts and paid fir fast shipping. Corr...
