Oh the agony and heartbreak of ruining a beloved knife while trying modifications that require professional skills!

Fit and finish are excellent. Detent is on the stiff side but I much prefer that to a weak one- should break in with time. I n...

I would take 6 H1 Pac Salt SE with the yellow scales. Honestly the only knife I’d ever really need and I do own two already.

I think I’ve sold about 7 Spydies by now, but honestly haven’t really been tempted to buy any back. I’ve certainly held on to about 5 times as many as I’ve sold haha.

Re: Surprised By New FFG Delica
Geometry cuts as they say. Try stacking up a serrated Delica (2.5mm) against the serrated Para 3 (3.7mm) and you might be amazed again. Spyderedges have a smaller inclusive edge angle vs factory plain edge.

Re: Delica SPRINTS FOR SALE
What is this steel known for? Having trouble finding reviews online. Larrin talks about blue super but I don’t know if that’s the same as super blue. It’s known for being easy to sharpen and taking a keen edge, but also for mediocre edge retention and poor corrosion resistance. Used often in chef’s...

Re: glove compartment knife?
Pac Salt 2 LC200N plain edge. This is a beater with lock rock that nevertheless has an excellent blade and steel- I dyed the scales black. I keep it in the door compartment and use it for whatever. I also have a Hultafors in SK5 in the toolkit.

Cool! Nice to see it being used as designed- I’m sure it’ll serve that soldier well.

Re: New Sprint Drop Coming Soon!
Ooh ooh Endura next please! What a cool color and steel, loving my Dragonfly it hasn’t left my pocket. Heck yeah. Then I could say I have a pair of the classic Spyderco designs in Superblue and Supergold. I have a Supergold Endura too! It’s actually a particularly good example and a really cool kni...

Re: Sharpmaker enough for M4 or K390?
You can maintain K390 and M4 just fine on a Sharpmaker. K390 is not known for being prone to chipping- in fact I’ve seen Shawn from BBB do some impressive things with it, such as batoning through coins without damage. If you need a steel that can cut carpet and cardboard and scrape labels off glass...

Re: enuff 2!!!
Nice!!! Any chance of a comparison shot with a larger folder, like the Stretch, Shaman, or PM2? I’m a little worried that the handle will be too small for me. Here ya go. Manix XL, Stretch XL, Military all kinda dwarf this thing handle-wise. Blade-wise however, I feel the cutting edge is pretty com...

Re: enuff 2!!!
I believe it actually has a longer cutting edge than any of these big folders- hence the compact firepower. Like a Glock 26.

Re: enuff 2!!!
Got mine today. My first impression is: compact powerhouse! The blade:handle ratio is quite satisfying, the balance is good, the geometry seems very useful for a small fixed blade, the sheath of course is excellent. This is a winner in my book. If you’re looking for a fixed blade to wear inside the ...

I believe your suspicions are correct and that this knife is not in an “untouched from factory” state.
