Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread! (not alerts)

I've been striving to procure 1 of this model through a multitude of retailers since it was announced, but have been totally shut out. Today was particiulary disappointing. Clicking & calling within seconds of an email notification was not fast enough to get an order in. BladeHQ disclosed to me...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

$5 above MAP from this ebay seller "Tin Star Shooting Range". Looks legit. Looks like he started with 20 and now there are 13 left. Most of his feedback is from Spydies and he has 38 different Spydies listed. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Spyderco-C229MPZW-Shaman-Sprint-Run-Z-Wear-Micarta-/174...

Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread! (not alerts)

The only other carbon fiber Spyderco i have is the S30v Chaparral. The Chief's CF is lighter in color and smoother but you can still feel the weave. https://i.imgur.com/dt4wxX9.jpg I believe the chap is G10/CF laminate and the Chief is solid CF. I've heard that before but it sure does look like car...

Re: MAPLE CHAP SHIPPING TO DEALERS WOO HOO

I noticed that my maple chap has a small clear sticker on the scale where the curve of the clip meets the scale--roughly in the middle of the scale. I don't think they wood will crack there, but I suppose the clip could abrade the finish or wood under a lot of use. No worries for me, I bought it to...

Re: bevelled Spydie hole?

knives with the satin stonewash finish (techno 2, mcbee, paysan etc) all have nicely rounded spydieholes. The only knife I find to be too sharp in my collection is the Kapara. It always hooks and shaves bits of fingernail, and it is sharp enough to cut skin.

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

So I guess we can mark off Blade-Ops and Knifeworks (I always assume Knife Center is a no go since they consistently over sell pre-orders). I've still got CSI, BHQ, DLT, NGK, GPK, KSF, REC & KJ on refresh. Any others? I don't think knifecenter took pre orders for the z wear, the product page sa...

My example from GPKnives arrived today earlier than expected, I'm very happy with the scales I received.

Re: Lil Native Exclusive - Rivers Edge Cutlery

They might be cancelling orders of more than 1 or maybe bot checking? I've been refreshing the checkout and it just paid off, but there is still the chance of overselling from the website I think we’re actually seeing them being disbursed in small batches as they said they would in the original pos...

Managed to snag one when it popped up after the first initial sell out. Maybe restocking units as some CC are declined?
