Correct, but as far as I know, Moki knives aren't marked "seki-city", just "Japan". Note the different fonts and depth of markings.

The knives pictured are marked "seki-city". The "Spyderco" marking is in the Moki font-style though.

There is no detent lash. What you are seeing is lock bar flex, which also contributes to vertical blade play. The Spydiechef has a long, thin lock bar that easily flexes.
