Juvenile at best. What’s next, potty humor? Give it a rest. People get their kicks and laughs differently. We all won't appreciate humor in the same way. Is this thread my style? Not really. Is there anything wrong with this thread? Not really. No reason to get annoyed or frustrated with it though,...

Re: Tactical Box-Cutter: A Long-Term Review of the Yojimbo 2 as a Warehouse Knife
Great review, excellent points, well written! I work in a warehouse as well. This is exactly what i was looking for. I tend to carry a Manix 2. I love the knife. It was the starter to my collection and I own many because of it. I've found that the leaf shaped blade, while perfect for most tasks. Doe...

Re: Getting that Itch...
From a purely practical point of view, considering your warehouse job, I have to say once more: The wharnie Delica would certainly be an amazing tool for you (I´d go SE in VG10 or PE in HAP 40, if I were you) - perfect blade shape, thin stock, generous handle, slim carry.... But since the Yojimbo j...

Re: Getting that Itch...
Thanks for all the great replies and opinions! I really hadn't considered how thick the blade stock is on the Yojimbo. Or that it wasn't a full flat grind. Saw the thing and fell in love. It wouldn't be the best for box slicing as i had hoped. The little native got a lot of votes too, seems it would...

Re: Movie knives.....no not that kind
So, in "The Walking Dead" There's a scene when they are on a farm. A character playing the role of Laurie has as spyderco endura clipped on their pants pocket. I about lost my mind when i saw it. They have it clipped all wrong, it's clearly never been used, and it's a decent quality knife ...

Getting that Itch...
I don't need a new knife... I want one something terrible though. I'm stuck between a few options. The little native seems incredible to me, especially with that compression lock. The compression lock is quickly becoming my favorite fidget knife. Also... it could possibly replace my dragonfly. I usu...

Re: SPYDERCO @ WALMART??
While i don't own any of the Spyderco budget models (Tenacious, resilience. ect.). I have handled them. The only thing keeping me from buying one is they run right around the same price as dragonflys, ladybugs, and manbugs...(I don't own all the models/styles i want... that's all of them btw). The T...

Re: Crunch-Time Hardware? Spyders For Trying Times?
Most people think I over do it anyway, but I usually carry three knives. One in each back pocket and a small one in my coin pocket. My coin pocket is always a dragonfly and is usually used most. In my back left pocket i usually carry something more heavy duty, either a shaman or a Manix 2/XL. In my ...

There's no middle ground on this one. People will find this hilarious or they are going to have some high blood pressure. You walk a fine edge my friend, lol.

Gail and I began testing salt water corrosion resistant materials in the early 80's. We were divers and sailors and felt there was a need/market for knife that could be used in Salt Water with little or no corrosion. This is a problem with a knife because the edge is the first to go because it's ex...

Tough call there between the native 5 and the manix. I've never handled a native myself. As for the manix, what a champ of a knife. They have a ton of different options and all of them work beautifully. If you're thinking self defense, the jimping on the manix will most certainly keep it in your han...

I haven't owned a full SE PM2 but i do have a SE Shaman. I love it and really have no doubt when i use it that it will get the job done, what ever it may be. I've used mine to cut through steel tie down straps on pallets, two inch thick tow straps, and open a nice package from amazon containing our...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive SMOCK!
I love the blade steel, but i'm kind of with Tkok83Spy. For a first exclusive i figured they would have gone for a different handle material. A marbled carbon fiber with CPM-20CV and i would have been sold.
*edit* I'm still probably sold...

I do enjoy people that actually have an eye for photography. Unlike myself where *place knife in center and click* is usually how it happens. My style will never bring out all the details and beauty in a knife though.
Love the work!

I'll put up my blast shield in advance of this idea. If the CBBL won't work on a small one... Compression lock? *ducks* I love the idea of a mini manix, but if we add in the compression lock aren't we coming close to a mini shaman? actually... i want a mini in both. Not even slightly. The Shaman an...
