thanks for your insight, mike. i do love seeing the evolution of knives and its a really cool concept to work from. i just didnt want to ask: harpy style handle (love g 10, frn, and aluminum like on salsa), about 3/16" wider towards "neck" of handle. millitary/ para 2 type blade shape...

you all bring good points. i should clarify that i was thinking more recent designs. i love the salt series which i guess could be called a new design but imo is a delica with dif blade steel. i really do love that spyderco has so many collaborations to balance out their designs. i still have to say...

in house design lacking in variety

i hate to say it but the title says how i feel these days :( . id love to be enlightened but alas... i love the old delica / endura/ police / standard etc type handles and more traditional blade styles (not to say im stuck in the past just preference). recently though, it seems like everything desig...

i have been waiting for FFG SE delica's but doesnt look like theyre coming soon. i agree with your findings but my reasons are : dragon fly is too small short for SE imo, tenacious is china made- maybe they are no good at SE?, and the police 3 i was SOOO looking forward too until that finger choil c...

for my uses it is great. i dont do a whole lot of food prepping even though the serrations will cut chunks fine just wont be doing thin slicing. they are great try them out, i prefer them on my knives now. especially because spyderco keeps the first +cm- PE for precise cuts. the H1 is no slouch it c...

yes! a pair that can be taken apart like kitchen scissors , frn handles and decent steel.... could get way dorky and have each side be a useable knife in its own right.

has spyderco considerd ergonomic shears?

ive been doing lots of small plant pruning and my scissors kill my hands after like 5 min. i, as a nut, use a knife for most i can but need something more precise.

scissors with spyderco's steels and ergonomics could be great.

ive seen lots of folks take the tip to a stone to make it pointier. i got one in a trade where the fella had had the pocket clip and barrel nut sandblasted and it looked good. anodizing the TI clip has been done too and looks cool. good luck keep it useable.

i really like them using the endura/ delica handles. its one of my favorites. i would agree that 1 or 2 high end salts would be good but at the same time they cant change the grind so what else would you really want out of curiosity? i see my h1 as a straight up work knife because of its design and ...

please no choil on the endura or delica. the police has already been ruined. i feel a choil puts your hand too near the blade and limits your hand holds. please dont listen sal.
